2023 in Conclusion
With two major contests and four brand new spotlights, 2023 has been a pretty successful year for NE. First, WhosLeon obliterated the field in the 4th iteration of Micro Madness. Summer belonged to the Belgians, and not only because Belgium was second stop of The Grand Tour... No less than two of our long time resident waffle munchers managed to grab their first spotlight; BelgianGuy and Jappy.
The Grand Tour was eventually won by J K and In:Cities, but that may not even be the former's proudest moment of the year. In February, J K kicked off the spotlight season with his definitive comeback park The Lonely Planet. Think that summarises 2023? Think again. In a shocking example of Alex Ex Machina, Age of Sail destroyed everyone's hope of being the top rated release of the year with a ridiculous 97% panel score, and alex didn't even bother to use a single custom object.

Sometimes, parks are in the database without having a savegame attached. Sometimes, parks should be in the database because they had an official release at some point, but aren't. We regularly add such parks, again for the sake of having a rich and complete database of parks.
Since a few years ago, we've had the ambition to complete all the pre-NE4 parkmaker pages. Many of the parks that were downloadable on the parkmaker pages, never made it to the NE database, which we are now slowly correcting. Since the last news flash, the parkmaker pages of Phatage, Ablaze, John and Blitz have been completed; other than one missing file from John. Please share if you have it!
