(Archive) Advertising District / Project Kobi

Hey! This is my first real attempt at a non-realistic park. Most of the sections will have very similar archy to other areas in other parks.

The srceen here is the park entrance and is based on Pyro Penguins Labs area.

Any comments good or bad greatly appreciated.

That looks really cool some nice archy in there cant wait to see more.

It looks very good actually, maybe loose the pink abstract walls or replace them with a more suitable more fitting colour. But apart from that the architecture is very good and you have made good use of the wooden coaster track on the roofs. Maybe you should change the style of the awnings in place because they are all the same at the moment, maybe have some curving out like half a circle. Well done so far.

Finally you are not in the realistic world. w00t! Nice screen, the colors reminds me of Pyro's park.

WTF? Oh yeah, you are the Korean kid...cool...

It is good to model your parks after parkmakers' styles, but you should copy everything down to the colors. Yeah, change the color scheme. And I would suggest losing the circles on top of the square buildings, and replacing them with something of your own. Come on, be creative.

It has that yummy Pyro-ness without being too Pyro. I like it. The archy is nice and simple, and the scenery looks pretty good. I don;t know about the red and yellow flowers with the snow trees. I would stick with just one color if I was you.

It is a total rip-off of Pyro's work. I suggest changing it a little such a the circles on the top. I also suggest getting rid of the awings. All in all it looks ok..

Hey, even if it is in the Atlantis Hotel/Terras Labs vein, I think it's cool that you've been able to emulate it so well. The buildings are big which is a good thing and the purple really adds to it.

Sure, you could do with making it more 'your own', but being able to use a defined style like that shows you have the talent in the first place.

Nice tree selection too.

Thanx for all the comments. They help heaps and ill try to change it a little to make it look different but we will just have to wait and see............

New screen. It's only small but its still something.

Progress is slow but still moving along. So dont expect to much to be shown. But any suggestions on how to improve anything would be great!

Hey guys. Not much of an update, but there is a unfinished screen. Its of the water ride in the snow themed area. Just give some thoughts on how to improve it if you can. Thanx.

I like it alot. The buildings are a nice mix between Pyro and oriental roving, and I love all the color. The scenery looks really nice with all the snow trees mixed in with regular trees. The snow trees kinda liven it up a bit.

Let the guy make what he wants and let him emulate it if he likes, at least it looks really really good.

To tell you the truth I think that you've only improved on the style and made it ten times better. Keep going on what you've got.

Honestly I can't find a single thing wrong with the park, I like it alot and I'm looking foward to the release.

I would be interested to see another color scheme however, just for the matter of creativity.

Its not a rip off. I happened to create the style, but its not like nobody else can use it. As long as the buildings, layout, and ride are different then its perfectly original work. What he did was take some of what I had and add some new stuff to it and I think it looks pretty cool. The second pic looks pretty bad, but it also looks like a bad angle. I'm liking the water ride but I suggest changing the white on the track to the aqua to blend it with the water.

The second screen is ok, the landscaping is'nt bad actually and the coaster is looking good. Maybe add some huts or buildings in the middle of the trees to create an atmosphere in there. Like a woodchopper's hut or something along those lines.

The 3rd screen is a lot nicer, I am loving the architecture, it's nice and big and fits in very well. The ride looks pretty cool although I have seen that type of layout before. Keep the work up and this could be a nice area.
