Theme Park Discussion / New Element North American Meetup 2022

Since it's a bit far to go to Belgium for a one day trip, I thought we could try for a meetup on this side of the pond as well!

On Discord, Scoop mentioned the possibility of BGW or KD, which I think would be a great pick, but I don't think that's set in stone. Texas was also mentioned previously. Feel free to drop your suggestions in the thread.

Always down for a meetup here in Orlando of course haha. Traveling would be a bit hard, but if something is planned in another state I could always try to work something out.

I’m a big maybe for late June through early August. I’d love to join in - just not super sure of my schedule. Mid to late July might be best for me, but don’t hold up any plans on my behalf.

Minor edit: looks like maybe late September is when my schedule fills up more, so let’s call it mid June - late August.

For the time being, Wednesday through Friday is a no go, but any other day would be fine.

June and September are out for me.  Could do July and August mostly.  Would need it to be a weekend to be feasible.  

I’m good for any of those months. The weekend would definitely be the easiest to do, but I could probably take a day or two off as well.

As far as what parks? KD/BGW is a great “easy” option. San Antonio doing Fiesta/SW/ ZDT’s could be doable. Even New England to do SFNE/Compounce/quassy would be fun. I would probably try and tie any of this into a bigger trip on my own if possible and if anyone wants to join on that as well I’d be all for it.

+1 for the local Orlando crowd. Traveling will be hard with all the weddings we have this year, but I'm down for meeting up after work at Universal or on the weekends.

I'll be in LA as of october... if you want to come do some socal parks in the fall/winter i'm in

Just to update the wider community: we've picked July 23/24 as the dates, and KD/BGW as the parks we plan to attend on those dates.
