Hey guys,
For some time now, I've been suggesting to do another New Element meet up on Discord, and even though there always seems to be some sort of response that this is a good idea, this never comes to anything.
The meetup will be the 1st of July.
Why Walibi Belgium? Because the park is centrally located and easily accessible for most members, and in recent years had quite a few interesting additions worth the trip: Pulsar, Tiki Waka, Poporn Revenge and of course Kondaa.
So, who will be there?

I'm down, I have a flexible work schedule but sundays are the most easiest to me.
On Spanish holiday from 24th of April until at least the 26th of April but possibly until the First of May.

Between Friday April 22nd and Friday May 6th is a school break for me, that would be ideal. Any week day.
Otherwise, I can't do weekdays until two weeks into July. Fridays are an exception, but it's not ideal.
Also down to do Plopsaland instead of Walibi Belgium btw, though I think it's much further away.

Shouldn't we wait for Walibi Belgium to have their permissions sorted before going there?

Good point, but as far as I know the park itself didn't really communicate about it so we don't really know if Kondaa or other rides may be closed. I think they will get it fixed, especially if we go late April, May or.... I can't imagine that they have to keep Kondaa closed for the whole (summer)season.

Alright, going off the info we have here it seems as if the first week of May might be the best option. Perhaps Friday the 6th?

Guys...If you invite people from southern Germany maybe not schedule something like this on a Friday

Just set a date before 1/4 because then I have to send in my proposed schedule for May.

Well my issue is that the cheapest way to get there would be by train, but then I would definitely have to book 2 nights somewhere.
Driving would be expensive, but I would probably only have to sleep 1 night at a hotel and then could drive straight home from the park.
Option 1 requires 2 days off work for me if we go fridays, Option 2 1 day.

Weekends are fine by me. You prefer Saturday or Wednesday?
Since when are Wednesdays in the weekend?
I prefer Sundays, easier to get off for me. Saturdays are hard.

Must've been drunk when typing last comment...
But yes, Sunday is fine by me. 8th of May then?

Honestly, the more I think of it the more I think I won't be coming. The logistics are just too insane for me. A 1.000km road trip alone just to visit one park...hard to justify, really, despite the benefits of it being an NE meeting.

Aren't Sundays very crowded? I sympathise a bit with Version1, it's quite a trip (not as much for me as it is for him obviously, but still quite a trip) and I'd like to properly experience the park in a relaxed manner. 8th of May is not an option for me anyway. Still down for a weekday, assuming it's less crowded! You guys know best.

Weekends in april/may are alright, the period to avoid is right after the exams and halloween. Those periods the park is terribly crowded and you shouldn't go. Both 8th and 15th of May are also not extended weekends so it should be fine.
