Round 5 Wrap-up

 

Below, you will find the standings for H2H9 so far. The top two teams from each division will proceed to the semi-finals. Ranking is determined by the number of wins first, with the average percentage of votes as a tie-breaker.

 

Round 5 has been juicy, with some important shifts in the field that ensure that this Round Robin will remain uncertain until the last round! The Scream Queens and the Tile Inspectors both got their much needed win, the former now being level with Logan's Run in the East Division, and the latter having repaired their low average score % and overtaking the Manual Laborers. The Cereal Killers suffered a harsh defeat at the hands of the Tile Inspectors. While they are still leading their division, their average score has plummeted, and with their two remaining matches against Logan's Run and the Cereal Killers, this tiny tear can easily become a lethal fracture. Meanwhile, the Adventurers Club are looking to be in good shape in the West Division after their convincing win, with the highest average score of all teams.

Round 6 Preview

July 25th 19:00 CEST (Countdown)

 

Round 6 will begin with a battle for the top spot in the West Division: the Tile Inspectors against the Adventurers Club. If my calculations are correct, the winner will qualify for the play-offs here. The Scream Queens can continue their resurrection in Match 2, but their opponents, the Manual Laborers, will definitely not bend easily. In Match 3, a win for the Cereal Killers will put them in the play-offs, with Logan's Run's odds of advancing up in the air, depending on how the Scream Queens fare.
