I guess peer pressure works, because here we are.
RCT2
Strengths: I know a lot about coasters. I build them too. Also in RCT.
Considerations: I plan to make as much time as I can for this, but don't want to promise H2H8 level participation. My availability is unstable at best.
I am best when conceptually leading a park build, however. Available for feedback, planning, and park development. -

Role: Player
Games: OpenRCT only
Multiplayer: Yes, but not for first couple of months due to location on a ship. (can still build just not online)
Skills and Notes: very much an Ideas guy. Always have some wacky and interesting ideas. Can build rides but not in the same way as SpaceK and Xtreme as I don't use 3D models, more editing of existing rides to do new things (See Laguna for good examples)
Although known in the old days as an LL player I've now moved over to Open and have made a few parks and designs recently. Enjoy bending the game in new and interesting ways but architecture has always been my downfall and the least enjoyable part of the game for me in general.
Availability: OK but not amazing. Wouldn't be comfortable leading a park in RCT2 these days but will be happy to take part in a couple of parks as sidekick. -

best kind of peer pressure is seeing everyone sign up
Role: playerGames: OpenRCT2/LL
Availability: busy during working hours and weekends, but available like every weeknight/evening. currently have no long trips planned but I'll have to travel to colorado a few times between now and august though.
pros: can play rct2
can make pretty rct2 stuffcons: real life is unpredictable
typically realism stuff (looking to change that though; see the yeeting of baker mountain)
EDIT: also would prefer being a later pick -

Nah, pretty sure I'll get drafted. More feeling bad for lesser known and newer talent that might get not get a chance.

I really wasn’t planning on signing up due to my current disinterest in the game, lots of stress at work, and uncertain availability with two kids. Thanks to lots of thinking, a discussion with my wife and baby crab (who is now three and loves the idea of rollercoasters), and a healthy amount of peer pressure, here I am!
Role: Player
Games: OpenRCT2
Availability: I’ll be on vacation July 10-17. Other than that, I’ll generally be available weeknights for 2-3 hours, which should give plenty of time for building. Depending on work, I may have more or less availability, but I won’t really know for sure until later. For the past year or so, I’ve had a major motivation problem with this game, but I’m hoping signing up will fix that. -

Wow! What a day. I love that your wife consented to this. Excited to see you get back into the game.

Oh thank you Sam, how awful. Done.
And the unification that's happening is quite wonderful. Do carry on.

Dudes, you all should have waited to sign up like 30 minutes before sign up period ends! Imagine the captains

That would be more annoying than anything. In the end everyone wants a quality draft and quality teams, right?
