My point. Why make the thread at all?
It's a waste of a fucking slot on the thread list. -

Uh oh, who feels a fight coming on?
Anyways, Radiohead is pretty good. I've never bought any of their albums though.

Yes, Radiohead is the best fucking band of our time. Told you.
Also, CGM, please, leave us alone. Radiohead is too much for your simple ska mind to handle. -

I finally borrowed the album today. Pretty cool.
Climbing up the Walls is definitely my favourite, but I also like Subterranean Homesick Alien a lot too.
I enjoyed it, put it that way. I might borrow Hail to the Thief from whoever has it. -

i am a newbie and im about to make a bad name for myself, but this is a general chat forum and this is a topic about one of the best bands in the world...!
saw radiohead on their pre kid a tour and they were absolutely immense. thom yorke's voice is even better live, and every1 went mental for my iron lung and just. not sure about amnesiac (apart from the pyramid song) but the rest of their stuff is very good. -

Er - no.
I don't like them. I don't know which alblum I had but it didn't make it past one of my "My Music" cleaning sprees.
Whatever.
Try SoulCoughing they are fucking great, or, Brian Eno, he's fucking brilliant. -

it was probably kid a or amnesiac because most ppl think they are more "abstract". well they are, u hav to listen to them loads before u really get to like it -

Stupid n00b. Both Brian Eno (and to a lesser extent) Soul Coughing, are far more abstract than Radiohead ever has been, will be, or could be.it was probably kid a or amnesiac because most ppl think they are more "abstract". well they are, u hav to listen to them loads before u really get to like it.
Soul Coughing is one of the wierdest pop bands ever, and Brian Eno is a musical genius.
Although, I much prefer his Glam, Punk, Post-Punk, etc, stuff to his Ambient music. With Rock and Pop Brian Eno is always new, fresh and exciting, with Ambient its always quite the opposite.
Only Ambient 1: Music For Airports, the instrumentals on David Bowie's "Berlin Trilogy" and his work with Robert Fripp do anything for me, in that vain.
Also, his production and synth playing on other people's records are always amazing. So, yeah...
And, back to Soul Coughing. Kick-ass, Avant-Jazz-Pop-Thingy, really, great stuff.
As for Radiohead, they've only made two great albums (Kid A and Amnesiac) and one truly standout song (Creep). Nothing really noteworthy elsewhere, although I'm sure to be flamed for such a comment. Whatever. -

Gardner, once again, you're a raving idiot. Really, "Creep" sucked, okay?
Also, Soul Coughing rocks. "Super Bon Bon" owns you, or something along those lines. -

In otherwords: Mr. Bungle lite. Anywho... Creep kicks ass, and you suck it dear QOTSA-2002, so shut up.A blend of rock, hip-hop, jazz, and electronica.

Avoid Creep at all costs...I guess if it weren't for the fact that it was an international karoke(...kareoke...goddamit) hit, we wouldn't have the backlash that is Radiohead not sucking, which is good. But, the song fucking sucks.
