You still haven't defined this "taste" thing to me...

I was just reading your post over and saw this:

AC/DC are just ugly, no-talent idiots singing about sex, yet I doubt they could actually get any.

So now people have to look good? Why do you like Radiohead then? Isn't their lead singer ass-ugly?

Also, Angus Young (the lead guitarist) is arguably one of the better rock guitarists, behind of course Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page and such.

The problem isn't that they're ugly, the problem is, well... uh... they're always singing about sex. Not a single song by them is about anything but sex.

This in and of itself shows a great lack of artistic ability on their part, and continually rehashing the same thing over and over shows a great lack of depth.

And of course, they don't even present unusual veiws of sex, or talk about sex in an unusual or creative method.

But beyond that, they sing about sex as if they've had it their entire life. This is of course a load of bullshit, as they're some of the ugliest people to have ever lived.

Maybe the fame drove groupies crazy... but would you fuck them (if you were either bisexual, gay or a female?)... no, you probably wouldn't.

Neither would I, or any intelligent person.

As for their guitar player, he sucks. I don't care how many chords you know, how fucked up your time signatures are, I don't care. I want to feel your guitar.

This is especially true of Rock, and even more especially true of AC/DC's particular brand of Rock.

Really, his guitar playing just doesn't have enough... umph. Maybe in the 70's it did, but by today's standards, even fucking Linkin Park rock harder. Heck, Blink 182 probably rocks harder.

Whatever.

And if you don't know what taste is, well, it would explain your lack of it quite nicely, wouldn't it?

I watched the Rock and Roll Hall of fame inductions, and when AC/D performed You Shook Me All Night Long, Angus fucking owned on the solo. He improvised parts, as the recorded version does not have much umph, but live it was just crazy.
