Re-watching the ceremony now and it just reminds me what a great community it is. Wish I had more time to spend on it.
No idea which native English speaker was who though, Jappy and Liam was obviously identifiable.
Congrats on all the winners, great year for RCT.
Appreciate the Screen of the Year award, real tough competition. Maybe next year I'll have a release for another category.

I'm sure everyone got more than enough of me during the ceremony, but I do have a few bits of retrospective on 2020 @ NE that didn't make it into the presenter commentary.
- My shortlist for personal favorite park of the year - not technically best or most jaw-dropping, just that I was attached to - included Payload, Disney's Animal Kingdom Spain, Puerta Vieja, Cube-a, Everland Discovery Kingdom ... parks that may not have topped the leaderboards, but I really found charming and focused.
- We do a bit every year where somebody brings the "carrying the torch of LL" canned phrase out at the awards, but it really was entirely the csw show this year. We can't let that happen again. So - anyone who has been thinking about LL, get on it. Anyone who would be interested in collaborating on a project - get talking.
- I found myself in all the Nominee selection committee talk basically making points about park details I really enjoyed and then realizing that - oh, I should probably tell the creator that in a review/comment. I'll try to make good on all those impulses in the next month or so.
- I basically blinked and missed NEFC, which I gave a shout-out to in the awards casting but wanted to elaborate on; it is super cool to see more people taking on the limited object restrictions and continuing to generate insanely creative uses for things. DKMP has been an engine of that for a while now, and it is really interesting to see the big brain 85+% parkmakers run with it.
- and of course, GT being a very successful contest. I attribute some of that to contest planning by the admins and some to the roll of the dice with active & interested membership; big shoutout to mamarillas, Josh, FK, and Hydrohenk (+more) for basically driving the bus and pushing to make sure no round was a dud. -

I can't get codex to work with my copy since my hard drive crash. Can anyone help?
Had to install a GOG copy of the game and then used the GOG to Awesome patch to get it drexlered so I can open save files from here, but codex says its incompatible (basically cause its not been drexlered)

Yeah, I was under the impression that the GOG copy doesn't work. Unless something changed I wasn't aware of, GOG just distributes the deluxe version, which doesnt work- you need the rct1+LL installations as their original separate forms, not the deluxe one.
I can help you out with that if you want, but posix will get angry at me if i mention it so just pm me on discord

I got it sorted with a little bit of help from Liam, and my discs decided to work again randomly. Also, GOG does work, just need the GOG to Awesome patch which seems to fix things (as long as codex is running in the right compatibility mode)
