Round 3 - Microstates: ResultsFrom the sixteen entries, a group of five rose above the others in the poll... The battle for second place was especially close, but it is clear which entry gets the win here: Gardens by the Bay! Congratulations to the unlikely duo AvanineCommuter and WhosLeon for qualifying for the Grand Final. Xtreme97 and Steve landed in second place, trumping the already qualified hydroportal who continues his impressive streak, and FK+Coastermind with his mind-bending Sistini. Splitvision admirably finishes in fifth place. Better luck next time! Thanks to all who participated in this round, and see you in Croatia!

Two parks were submitted that did not meet this round's requirements, one because of an excessive exceedance of the maximum map size, another for being themed to a non-microstate. They're still good work checking out, and we're happy to share them with you now.
The Holy Fair Chisinau Cathedral Park by FredD by Dark_Horse Vatican City Moldova How could we possibly shake more money out of the pockets of people, the church thought... A fair! A fair on Vatican's square! The pope wants dough. -

Surprised to see Gardens take it! It was an incredible entry and super accurate to Singapore. The real surprise is seeing Sistini so low. Insane entry brought down by an abstract concept which didn't directly allude to a microstate.
Ooh, bonus parks!
The Holy Fair (FredD)- Nice work! Obviously, the stunning recreation of St. Peter's Basilica is the star of the entry. The fair seems a bit scattered, but I love the inclusion of a Chance toboggan. Good entry!
Chisinau Cathedral Park (Dark_Horse)- Not a lot to say about this one, unfortunately. The buildings are nice, but they could use some more detail. The big problem with this one is that it's almost all crazy paving path. With FredD's submission, at least there are more rides and buildings to break it up. I'm also not sure what the miniature railroad is supposed to be, considering it has no track. Is it one of those road trains with a themed tractor pulling a bunch of wagons? Overall, a good effort, but next time focus on how to break up the paths and add interest.

Congrats AVC & Leon! Not the result I was expecting based on the chatter, but definitely a worthy winner. This was definitely a hard round to call given the high quality of so many parks, so congrats to everyone!
Glad we'll at least have one fantasy builder in the finals, though it does feel a bit dirty he had to go realistic to do it, heh. But, this contest really has a more traditional focus given the intent of capturing a specific culture and location in each round.

Thanks FK! Definitely not how I anticipated the round to go either, fully thought Sistini or Anchor Bay would take the crown. Amazing stuff all around.Congrats AVC & Leon! Funny that you mention it, this is the first realism that I’ve built... mostly under Leon’s guidance. Trust me when I say it won’t be that way for finals
