Whenever I send in a final park, I always tidy up the place, water gardens, etc. Is this illegal? Asking for a friend.

Passed deadline and proceedings
Dear all, the deadline has now passed. A total of 26 entries were sent in, of which 24 meet the contest's requirements and have been selected for competition. We are rather pleased with this turnout, and have begun preparing all the entries for release.
Unlike NEDC where we have select jurors, this time we want to give everyone a voice to determine the winner. We will post a big poll of all entries at once, in the spirit of what was a quick contest. You will then be invited to cast your votes the same way we just did for the NE Awards 2019. More details on that to follow.
One thing to note: some of you have already mentioned a desired accolade category for potential panel voting. If you'd like your entry to be voted on as a Design or Spotlight, now is the best moment to tell us. Otherwise we will choose for you what we believe is the best fit.

Voting has begun !
Dear all, we have now entered the voting stage and added the aforementioned poll to the topic. Since this is checkbox multiple choice style, you may give all your favourite entries a vote on both questions. The winner formula is:
Question 1 votes + ½ × Question 2 votes
Like this, there is a reward for best interpretation of the keyword. Should we see two or more entries with similar vote counts on top after counting Question 1, this will likely decide who wins. The poll will stay open for 72 hours, meaning we will know the winner in 3 days from now.
As always, please make sure you give all entries a fair chance and look at them all before picking your favourites. To aid you with this, find below temporary batch download. We will remove it once the poll is closed, as parks are to be downloaded from the individual park pages. We like our download counts.
> NEFC All Entries Batch <
With that, I'll leave it to your hands to choose who may call himself king of NCSO no-hacks at New Element!

Ok, here’s my quick first impressions for everybody…
Alex- stunningly beautiful environment as expected. Simple and rustic, and a lovely coaster. Really charming, very clean, very good. Connection? I guess theres like things going across a ravine.
Art expo- nice to see a posix release! Theres some interesting sculptures, particularly the roofs of the wild west building in the center is very cool, and I like the giant trellis structure attached to the ultratwister. I wish the landscape felt a bit more complete. Connection? Not entirely sure tbh
Celladoria – really lovely and atmospheric. Can see the shnupz inspo. A bit quaint but still some mystery and excitement. Connection? Uh also not so sure here.
Cliffs and creeks- nice stuff. I wasn’t as hot on the layouts over the water but there were some nice elements. Archy is a bit cluttered and diverse to really stick but I like the big brick building up at the top. Connection? Yeah I guess crossing a cliff and dueling coasters.
Corn- uh cool I guess. Corn. Connection? No idea
Disneys seven seas- foliage and filling out details is a weak spot but its nice. Hotels are possibly a bit small and stout but I like the idea connection? Yes very good idea.
Ganges- I really adore this. Feels like a bastard natelox/fatha sort of thing. The archy doesn’t scream india to me but I love the vibe, landscaping, and layouts. Very cool stuff. Connection? I’m not sure sure also here. Is it meant to be some spiritual sort of thing?
Electric fields- good stuff. I think this is one of the better electric fields I’ve seen- really welcomes and embraces the original setting and atmosphere of the scenario. Connection? Also not so sure.
Fredd- pretty simple stuff but not bad. I actually think it’s a decently realistic bobsled layout. Connection? I guess space??
Ghost town- heck this is fucking awesome. Love this snippet of a classic scenario which I’d played around in before, and you really did the setting justice. The forts are really awesome and theres tons of overlapping bridges and paths and cool wooden buildings to love. The main street is very well done. All up a fantastic entry. Connection? I guess theres like an afterlife sort of vibe but it’s a bit weak.
Great mesa- precedent well set
Hydroportal- interesting concept. I think the white puffs aren’t quite placed organically enough to really sell the cloudy puffy feel- too many straight edges. Connection? Mm I guess connection to the sky/heaven
Orion- some nice ideas here, like the large space station and the single tile paths around the map. Not a bad layout to boot. Connection? Space is a bit weak but having the station helps
Kaibueno- nice pastel vibe. I like the wild mouse castle ride. The diver area is almost cool but just color overload- I think a nice cool coaster color scheme would have sold it better. Connection? I think naming rides after pandemic things does not a theme make
Liampie- reminds me of time machine and other similar parks. I liked the savage area a lot. Om and the Caribbean area were good too. I think the center sculpture didn’t quite come together as you might have wished. Connection? Yeah I’d say this fits the bill although the theme is slightly lost on me
Mamarillas- sort of feels like 3 separate coasters doing their own thing, crammed into one area. Like they each are fantasy/realism/semi and very different layouts. Is that the point? Each of them separately is pretty decent ncso stuff though. Connection? Unless its secretly some rct meta commentary I have no idea. Theres a bridge? EDIT: i'm dumb
Memory lane- I really like this go kart theming device. Good idea. The archy varies, theres definitely some interesting and good shit even if it’s a bit all over the place. I really like the long bridge in the corner with the monorail. Connection? Certainly
NE servers- very cool idea. Each little park/file was decent, if a bit plain. But the whole picture is neat, I like it a lot. Connection? Also very clear
Dysconnectivity- I have no idea what I’m looking at so in that sense you sold the theme well! I sorta like it anyway. Some cool weird shit over violently glowing green goo. Connection? Yeah I buy it
NE kingdom- I love this. On its own its already a great MK-style park with lovely archy and areas. But the NE meta stuff is pretty funny and well-integrated. Very solid stuff. Connection? Yeah I suppose so
Nile- I quite like this. Theres some nice lush landscaping and wooden buildings/boats in amongst the usual Egyptian stuff. Not sure I dig the positioning of the hyper but theres some good interaction from both coasters. Connection? Not sure I get it here either
Payload- ok all those rockets are actually genius. So simple and so effective. The big rocket in the cobra roll is also a fantastic touch. A lot of great space- white building- shit here. Really like it a lot, and a solid layout on top. Connection? Yeah I think it gets a pass
Dr dirt- you truly have a doctorate in landscaping. So beautiful and wholesome and just marvelous. Easily one of my favorites. And those tiny boats- genius! Connection? Mm idk here
Mars power reserve- not entirely sold on this- a bit of an overload of green/red/black. The lasers are cool, and for some reason the game draws them a bit funny, like painted on lines.
We overcome- cool idea, with the different sickness areas. Most of them were pretty solid, I especially loved the sort of fever-dream fantasy area- cool shit here, even if I’m not entirely sure what it signifies. Lots of nice archy and rides, as I might expect from a kumba park. Was less keen on the nyc area, especially the layout, but not so terrible. Connection? Yeah sufficient
What I know- also a pretty great park. Love the back half especially, that’s a great rustic vibe. Some talented and composed stuff here. Connection? Yeah I buy the life-story approach.
Alright, I think that’s it!

Just want to say here a quick congrats to everyone.. so much creativity and talent on display in this quick contest. Amazing what you all can do without hacks. I'm curious how many NCSO projects will be born out of this going forward. There's a lot of great styles shown here that I would love to see expanded upon. Steve NCSO? yes please. Full sized nsco pacificoaster park? More Kumba, Posix, Louis, and trav in the future? Also excited to see future work from Dr Dirt with his terrain skills.

Payload - Nice entry. Very masterful use of NSCO, lots of clever tricks and interesting ideas. Coaster felt a bit slow
Pineapple - Great entry, wish you'd kept the original colors. Landscaping was impressive and layout was fantastic.
Mars Power - coaster is good, but the map as a whole feels way too cramped and chaotic. the blindingly bright green doesn't help to direct my focus to any particular areas.
We Overcome - chaotic and cramped, but in most places well executed. The biggest turnoff for me here was that it felt like the themes didn't really tie to the diseases that well.
What I know - Not really sure what the theme is here, but it felt personal, like you built things that mattered to you. I think that's a refreshing take on "connectivity" and the park was full of good, well-executed ideas.
Rainbow valley - Great rainbow flow motif and full of lots of awkwardly charming elements. A great park held back by rides I'm unfortunately not too fond of.
Art Expo - Did Petty Squabble inspire this at all, or did we just pull from the same concepts? Clever ideas, and kept me looking around for more.
Celladoria - Love the rides and landscape. Visually impactful entry that's just charming on a macro and micro level.
Cliffs and Creek - Shows NCSO skill, but was hard to follow from a macro perspective. Duelers are impressive and love the castle station.
Corn - k
Seven Seas Lagoon - Would like some more peeps and motion in here. Shows a good grasp of structures on a macro level, just not very exciting.
River Ganges - Good micro and macro skills here. Also good layouts. It's a little messy and hard to follow in places but not enough to hold this back.
Electric fields - Really nails the farm/park details well for not having hacks available. Maybe the most immersive and believable entry of the contest.
Elonvile - Is a joke entry?
Ghost Town - right proper western with a very pretty coaster highlighted right in the center. Another immersive, well-done park.
Great Mesa - DQ'd but cool as fuck
Connectivity Castle - The cloud thing looks really cool with the coaster, but it hides too much of the castle. I think it would be a lot stronger if you gave each idea a bit more room.
Mars Station orion - Cool ideas well done given the constraints. Beautiful coaster as well, but that's expected from you.
Carnivale - big fan of the cliffside archy and the mountain coaster. the lower section was a bit chaotic and the easter bunny colors aren't my favorite.
Metling pot - Spiral lift reminds me of Kitabasaki Dragonland. The layouts do weird things, but they take you through some well-themed cool areas. Not surprised you made a 4corners out of this.
Fantasy vs Realism - You did the thing. I wouldn't doubt this it the most often pitched H2H idea of all time. Glad someone brought it to life. Well done on highlighting some tropes on either side and connecting the two concepts.
memory Lane - Another very personal feeling entry. I'm not following the story 100%, but I can tell it's there and that this is heartfelt.
NE central Server - Cheesey idea, but some nicely done themes and ideas stuffed within the cheesey concept. Desert area is a highlight for me.
Disconnectivity - Flip the concept on it's head, and make a disjoint park full of chaos? why not? The green water is distracting, and while the interpretation of the theme is clever, it's too chaotic to hold my attention for too long. It looks like it was a blast to make.
NE Kingdom - Fitting a full park into this is a bit unexpected, but I think this pulled it off. The compact flyer is really nicely flowy and one of my favorite things on the map. The schwarzkopf station is nice as well.
Nile River - I can't believe this was done without hacks or CSO. There's so much there, and it's very fine grain and specific. Wonderful work, made only better by well-done coasters. -

Such an amazing turnout, best in any NE contest of this size. Just crazy that people 'could' have done this with the game from the start so many years ago. Just shows the progress we have made. I'll try to add feedback in each park's page soon.
