General Chat / Windows XP patch

Does anyone know where i can get the patch for the original rollercoaster tycoon to work on xp? Thanks in advance.

I've looked everywhere for this...and I'm pretty sure that it doesn't exist. The only one you could get is the 'official' patch for sure...and Infogrames doesn't have one.

Also, RCT Deluxe (all 3 in one box, not Gold tho) is supposed to be compatible with XP, and just came out...go buy that. Thats what I'm planning on.

I don't know about the orignial RCT, but I certainly know where to get the XP patch for LL.
Do you have it? If so, reply, and I'll find the URL for you.


Edit: My LL refused to work period when I got XP, but after this patch, it works fine, although it doesn't identify LL saved games, so you actually have to open up the game, then open up the saved games, instead of possibly double clicking them from, say, the desktop.

Yes, please. That was EXACTLY the kind of deal I had...it wouldn't recognize the saved game...but I could run the game and everything and then when I opened them INSIDE the game, they would work. HOWEVER, that was the last time I had XP, then I had major problems with it, and had to reinstall it (a different version), and now I can't remember how to do what I did before, so I would like the patch that you're talking about CW.
