Didn't make the voting but there's my 2 cents worth about a third of a cent adjusted for inflation lol. The Durham - Wit's End match was by far the best yet. The others were a landslide as soon as I saw the screens, then confirmed when I opened the parks.
Great first round for the most part and I can't wait to see what the teams have in store for us.

1. Dig Site - 90% - Unique theme, brimming with action and details, creative ideas and strong overall composition of the park, probably the best original coaster of R1 imo.
2. Wits End - 85% - Unique theme, great use of glitches and hacks to convey the concept, beautiful architecture and had some really standout wow moments. Some architecture was lackluster, parts were messy and concept could have gone further with the trippy atmosphere instead of staying so grounded throughout.
3. Durham - 85% - Best atmosphere of all R1 parks, immersive, picturesque, quaint and beautiful. Architecture stood out as simple yet refined, and color palette was fantastic. Back side of the park was weak and overall didn't hold my attention for long.
4. All Coasters Go to Heaven - 70% - Best H2H concept of R1, each layout was fantastic and played up the nostalgia factor. Great inclusion of humor. Architecture and atmosphere lacked refinement.
5. Tahendo Zoo - 70% - Extremely precise, clean, and high level of execution. Atmosphere was nice but lacked variation, as did the landscape. Lack of coaster / general movement was a major negative and unfortunately affected my enjoyment of the park.
6. Motherland - 65% - Humorous and some great references, fun little details throughout. Architecture was lacking in comparison to all other parks, as was atmosphere, as was ride design and general concept.
Matchup review:
1. Ultrarealists vs. Heaven's Gallery - Most hyped matchup, two wildly different parks. Exciting though frustrating match - and my vote for best matchup.
2. Strangelove vs. The Replacements - Very close match from also two very different parks (All coasters vs. no coasters). Was a tense voting period as they were close. Weakest matchup in terms of my personal park ratings.
3. Team Spacecrabs vs. The Icons - Clean sweep by my favorite and highest rated park of R1 vs. my least and lowest rated, so the matchup was less interesting overall as the landslide win confirms.
Great job to all the parkmakers! Despite all the negative criticism, the parks were of very high quality all around and we're having a extremely strong start to the season. I'm very excited to see what else all the teams have in store for us... I'm prepared to be blown away. -

Sucks I didn't have the time last week to properly review the parks (and even forgot to vote ultra v heaven match up although I looked at them extensively) but this was definitely a very enjoyable round.
