Leaks are one of the most frustrating things as both a player and as a viewer in H2H. They not only take away the excitement of release day, but they lower activity on the site as comments have already been shared between people through other means.
Unfortunately, leaks are always going to be a thorn in our side as the excitement of building gets the better of people and they want to share their work that they're so proud of. It's an understandable feeling and I'm sure we've all had thoughts of wanting to share something with our friend on another team for one reason or another.
With this in mind;
RECENT EVENTS HAVE RESULTED IN A TWO PARK CAP BEING APPLIED TO A HANDFUL OF PLAYERS
This means that the player(s) in question will forfeit their right to building on three separate parks as shown in rule B5, and will instead only be able to build on two parks, including the final.
These players will be kept anonymous to all but their own captain, and the rest of their team if they decide to make it known. This information is to be kept within the team, and any information passed between teams regarding this will be dealt with in the same way as any other leak.
This will also be retroactively applied to anyone who we are already aware of leaking something. Previously, leaking would have instantly been a disqualification of some sort, so we're not actually cracking down or tightening the belt here, but instead creating a much more manageable 'punishment'.
Finally, anyone who is caught leaking when they are already on a two park cap will be disqualified and kicked from the competition.
This punishment has been handed out in proportion to the violation of the rules, and any further rule-breaking may/will end up with different punishments.
As for the 2nd half of the announcement;
Team STRANGELOVE and The Replacements will both have a 25% penalty applied to their final R1 vote percentages
While we would like to keep our 'punishments' the same across the board, sometimes a slightly different outcome is desired, namely if we're looking to have an immediate effect on just one player or the team. This is the situation here.
The match up will go ahead as normal, with the 25% penalty being applied as average vote percentage is one of the measures used to progress from the regular season to the playoffs. To put this into numbers, if Team A were to win with 75% of the vote, the numbers submitted to the average vote percentage would be Team A - 50%; Team B - 0%.
We will not go into detail about the reason for this penalty. If the teams wish to discuss it, then they are free to do so and we will not prohibit talk, but even with the penalty applied, we'll still have two fantastic parks to rally behind as a community, which is the most important aspect of all this.
If anyone feels like they want to talk about this, please feel free to come forward and speak to me individually.
Now, let's put this all behind us and create some awesome Rct.That's what we're all here for, right?

Rules are that hard to follow? Don't sign up if you don't like the rules, it's that simple. If I were in charge there would be instant dq's flying. But then there'd be a handful of people probably acting like 6 year olds bawling their eyes out because they were caught and "that's hateful" or something like that. So props for being so lenient. Still looking forward to the parks. Just sad there's some who think their shit don't stink.
