Hey dudes,
I realized the other day that I never posted my nicely categorized disneysea photos from 2013. I took a lot, from a perspective of someone who wants to build shit in rct, so they may be useful to you guys also. Side note, I'm a shitty photographer, but I included some blurry ones just coz they're still good enough reference pics for rct stuff.
I can't be bothered writing a real trip report or anything, but feel free to ask me questions. Its pretty much the best theme park in the world, so no wonder I've tried building it like 15 times.
I'm uploading them to separate imgur albums depending on the area for convenience:
And one pretty photo from each for fun
just kidding, "you are not allowed to use that image extension on this community"

It's so grey. Was that just the overcast day, or is the park really that dully coloured?

What was your park touring strategy? What did you skip, what had unexpectedly long lines, etc.
Where'd you stay? -

Ill give you my rundown of the day, which worked really well, although it was 4 years ago so things could change. This was mid november.
We were staying in shinjuku near the train station. We woke up early and took two trains to get there, the regular and then disneys dedicated one. We got there around 45 mins before opening, as you can see from the people sitting in front of the gates in my pics. This is a good strategy to get some early easy rides in.
When it opened, everyone ran (literally) to toy story, but it was newer then. Idk what they would do today. We ambled to journey, and got essentially walk on on the best ride in the world. Then walk on to 20000 leagues, which my dad liked because it reminded him of an old ride at Disneyland. Its a good ride and worth it. Then we walked to tower to get fastpasses. While we waited for that, we rode aquatopia and stormrider (rip). Neither had very long lines, but the latter had a long preshow. We headed back to tower, which was the longest wait of the day probably, even with fastpasses. Its a pretty queue and i enjoyed it, but i dont really get the hype- its fun but short. The magic trick in the preshow is great tho.
Continued in next post, am on bus now -

Instead of one big meal, we decided to do little things throughout which is super easy- as well as all the popcorn, most food places seemed to serve one main thing, and you could get a big serving or a more snacky serving. So you can try everything! Best food was probably the lamb at the castle or the indian food in arabia. Dont wait in line for the gyoza ib mysterious island... not worth it.
Next we walked to lost river and single ridered indy. Fantastic ride, 20 min in single rider. Then hopped on raging spirits, which was probs 30 mins. The ride is average on paper but i actually quite liked it. The queue and themeing has a lot of atmosphere and i just enjoyed being in it. Sinbad was closed but whatever, not sure i missed out. We also didnt ride any of the flats- i usually would, but its not like theyre particularly different than standard, and theres better shit to do. I cant really remember the rest of the day- we rode journey and 20000 leagues again, we explored the castle (pretty but more for kids, worth a gander tho), rerode indy and raging spirits, and wandered around taking photos. Toy story ran out of fastpass almost immediately and never dropped under a 2 hr line so we didnt ride - but im also not very upset about that. It doesnt seem like its in the same caliber as the original, less cash-in dark rides at the park. We took some photos and looked at things but tbh were done by about 4pm, and also really tired from the day.
We also watched an absurd food based show in NY, checked out the bar on the boat (seems to be usually empty! Super strange set piece), ate a bunch (the ny deli was also good) and didnt get stressed or feel rushed. The park is an attraction itself- its worth walking around and taking it in.
Id go again in a heartbeat, but maybe not if journey or indy were down- id probs check out tokyo disney instead. Or head out to tobu zoo idk, im not sure i can be hassled with fuji-q
