So we ware planning a new multiplayer parl. Whoop dee frigging doo!!

 

Theme; movies.

I started this thread to share at least some stuff about what I'd like to do, as to avoid possible duplication on the map or any future argument: I'd like to do an adventure zone themed after The Mummy. What would I build? Some sort of whacky coaster, no idea yet which. Style? I'm guessing it's gonna be semirealism like the last park? As in it could exist but without the attention to backstages and all that.

I'll probably build nothing but will be on the server for fun conversations about movies.

I'm interested in this. I'd love to do some sort of action movie, like Mission Impossible, James Bond, or the like. Is this meant to be like a "studio" park, or just a collection of themed areas? That actually dictates my ride choices a bit (and maybe my theme).

I only have Indiana Jones in my head, though this might be overdone. Just an idea of a theme!

If we do it, maybe do something different from The Temple of Doom, such as The Last Crusade or The Lost Arch.

It's probably not gonna be a studio park, just a collection of movie-themed areas. Maybe not even that, just areas grouping similar kinds of movies together.

I think making it a conventional theme park with areas might doom the park and restrict the players. I think the best thing to do is to make the park a giant sprawl of movie related stuff, like Thoughts: tiny areas and single flatride areas, as well as larger areas, with some random stuff mixed in. Just a ton of content with fun above realism. Not as chaotic as Thoughts, maybe de Efteling is a better comparison as every ride is stand-alone. I don't want to have to thematically conform to my neighbours.

I like the sound of this, as everyone can actually finish their own little/large area and focus on his/her work. might also allow new kids on the block to have fun;) maybe for VII?
