One extreme option I've thought about for this situation is after you finish the abbreviated final park you could then pick up from the save game where you hit the object limit and chop out certain things (like foliage or even rides) so you can actually complete the areas that you weren't able to finish. If you had some really cool/specific ideas, it might be cool to do a director's cut of the park (ie a different map might be missing the entrance area or some rides but have a fully complete Area "X" that you were unable to finish). -

Construction is complete on HOA and is now in testing/final stages! Still have some objects left for some detail work however the park is nearly ready for testing by our VIP's which should take place next Sunday Night!

@ BelgiumGuy, that sounds like a dealtoon support saver
Not such a bad idea from me, right?
I know you don't want to let me see the park already, but I might have some ideas for freeing up object slots. My Disney park is being built very efficiency right from the start. -

7 hour design- fuck that. i tried to do a diagonal lift hill on my dive machine and i glitched it up. -

A very good idea from you! I'll import the object then start building from there, if I run into problems I'll be sure to send you the park.
Milo nice idea about the directors cut, that's being considered right now. -

i don't think the object limit makes you creative, it makes you do the exact oposite. i hate it. -

Dreamport has been going really well until tonight. The past few days I've basically finished two areas and started finishing another one and I hit the object limit. I've spent all night preserving objects and I must have freed 450 objects. The downside to this is I've had to delete some architecture that was facing inwards to the lake so I'm not too happy about that being a perfectionist and all. I'm yet to import the toon support saver used by Cedarpoint so I'll do that. It should then free up a lot more space for me to finish the park.
Anyway with that said the park was at 86% when the object limit hit. I may update this tomorrow with a new percentage considering my work is not going to be so detailed now. It's all good because I can now see the finish line being put under such a restriction but I guess it's not going to be the perfect vision I had in my head.
No no no! Deleting stuff is the last thing you should do! Firstly, you should import new objects that can save you literally thousands of slots. Look for recurring patterns like balconies made of several objects, than make a new object that looks like it's made of several objects. Then replace of course. I'm happy to help you with object making, in case that's necessary. Just don't delete stuff yet...
A nice source for extra slots is invisible path-pathblock combinations. If there isn't a potentially glitching object (like barrels) on the tile you can replace it by visible path and no one will tell the difference. -

What the HELL is the toon support saver and what does it do? Does it save 'local' support pieces like saving scenery with a ride and make them all 'appear' as one piece to the games memory or something? -

look in sfc. it's basically a massive pole that would usually take up a load of objects. -

Good to hear, RCTNW. Cant wait to see the potential 4th spotlight of the year hit the frontpage. -

Could anyone post the support saver here if they know the DAT? It would help me out a lot. -

Don't worry I've sorted it! Thanks a lot though Remy! I'll talk to you about the park soon. -
