RCT Discussion / Park Updates

^ scenarios really help with inspiration and improvement, motivation etc. That's the 'game' to me. I'll play a scenario and all the sudden be motivated to build on my primary project.

Can be finished in 5min, but I don't have motivation to do the rest, lol.
Will probably do it tonight. :)

And a glitch need to be fixed first...

Schembri springs is around 40%. And I started something else, I just dont know what to do with it. Same thing for My Six flags park, its got some things I like and its done but its just so outdated and I want to redo parts because I think it could be really nice.

Just curious, why 2007 and not modern day?

Anywho... I got something to show. Give it a lil more than a day now.

Man, I can't seem to get epws finished. Everytime I go through the park I see something I want to improve, which is really frustrating. Guess that's my aim for perfection, although that's just impossible. It actually makes the park better, but I just want to move on. Any advice?

Just embrace the fact that it isn't 'perfect.' Otherwise, you'll never finish. Also, you could try testers. :p

In my experiences that "aim for perfection" is a killer. I know that I've missed at least three Road Rally deadlines trying to 'perfect' my entry and afterward I've wondered what the FUCK I was thinking when I looked at previous saves compared to the unfinished mess that I currently had.
I think sometimes there's a reason you did things a certain way originally that can't be improved on in a vain attempt to 'perfect' it.

Just the opinion of someone that's missed deadlines and never released anything here because of his aim for perfection.

Let me take a look. If you have been improving all this time it should be nearly perfect now... ;)

Woodfall is about 82% done and is already looking absolutely legit. I'd still say July or August for expected release. Maybe even another update before then too.

    The Starbird Project:
    -Welcome Center map: ~20-25%
-Geyser Springs Map: layout of Geyser Springs Lodge complete.

Note: I am really surprised at how well my sketch of the layout I wanted actually translated into RCt.
