I dunno, critical reviews tend to be some of my favorite, for example:

Sorry for the bump, but relevant:
Got plenty of pictures and I'll do a little write-up of Invadr over break if I have a minute. (and remember to)

Oh man, that would be so great to feature on the site! PM if you want to contribute.
Still aiming to launch it Saturday.

Theme Park World is a theme park and roller coaster blog that blogs about anything that happens in the magical world of theme parks. We want to offer in depth articles, with a critical view into it without being too harsh or too negative. Next to articles we also have photo galleries from various theme parks from all over the world, in order to offer a great view of the existing theme parks in the world today.
Contributions
Since it’s practically impossible for one person based on one continent to cover the world wide theme park industry, we are always looking out for contributions! Any sort of contribution will gladly be accepted, and of course you will be given the appropriate credits. The main sort of contributions we are looking for are photos. Also guest articles are very welcome! When you contribute, make sure you own the content you send to us! Theme Park World condemns plagiarism in any way!
Contributions can be send to contributions@themepark-world.com.
If you want to work with us on a regular basis, you can become a member of Theme Park World. In that case, please contact frederik@themepark-world.com for further information.
It's up and running guys! -

Well the most important form of contribution I can use are photos. Since I can't possibly go out to all theme parks in the world, getting photos from other parks can help me a lot.
Articles are as welcome too. I'm not really looking for trip reports, I think park reviews are more interesting. So not like "I've been to Europa Park and we rode this and than this" but more like "I found this great about Europa Park but on these points they can do better". Special occasions or openings are also very interesting to feature on the website, just as in-depth articles. Like I'm planning an article about transportation in theme parks (for Jappy ) or on what is the best place on Earth to live as a roller coaster/theme park freak. That kinda stuff.

Amazing page, Fred. Really fresh and well organized. Unfortunately I don't have much to contribute, but I'm sure I going to visit the page frequently.

Don't associate yourself with the Diamond Theme Park Awards. They're fucking terrible.

Why are 'they' terrible? I like they way they work, with a jury that chose the nominees and afterwards have a 50% decision in choosing the winners. Makes it more honest than only public voting in my opinion.
You can disagree with the winners, but those are not chosen by the organisation.

I'm invited to a press event at Dorney Park the 18th of May. Since I can't fly over quick I'm looking for someone who lives near Dorney Park, is free on that date and is willing to go and write an article about it + take photos.
What is the event specifically? Dorney unveils their new parkside pavillion. Here's the program:
10:30 AM - check -in at the park
11 AM - Opening ceremonies in the parkside pavillion
11:30 AM until 12:30 PM - Lunch in parkside pavillion, sample item's from Dorney's chefs
12:30 PM until 2 PM - Exclusive ride time on Dodgem, Kaleidoscope, Talon and the antique Carroussel
And of course, all that free! All that in trade for writing an article and taking some photos, you can't lose with that deal! Of course when you want to go, be sure you can go and will go! If I answer to Dorney Park I'll send someone and you don't show up, that's bad image for me...
Contact me on frederik@themepark-world.com if you are available and willing to go. I'll provide you with more information.

Still no one for that gig? Have to answer before the 12th of May. Take Cocoa's advice... I'd take it if I could.

Theme Park World recently visited Plopsaland De Panne and brought some cool stuff to give away to our readers!
We have three woodblocks to give away! Woodblocks, why would you want that?! Well, it aren’t just any woodblocks, it are woodblocks used by the construction of Heidi the ride (Plopsaland De Panne’s new wooden roller coaster)! A great and fun gadget to have for the roller coaster fanatic.
