I'm not a hardcore realism guy, I don't play RCT anymore to be called any kind of RCT style. I'm not complaining, I couldn't give 2 shits what park is built, and I'm sure neither could G Force, considering we both built on the last park, him more than me (I didn't build much cause I don't RCT much anymore.)
You've listed 4 people who don't want hyper realism, 1 of which hasn't built on the previous park anyway, and I didn't realise that there was only G Force & myself that were hardcore realism focused out of the whole site, and didn't realise that there was only going to be Kumba, BG, Alex & Cocoa that were building on the next park.
Of course, and I'm in a similar boat to you. I probably won't build much either way so it doesn't really bother me either way. More so than that, I'm thinking about what people actually want to do. I liked going on the server to just chat with people, so for me, whatever gets more people on the server is better.
That's why I suggested a poll. The more popular idea goes forward, more people on the server and more fun for the community as a whole rather than just a small section. You're instantly assuming that hyper realism wouldn't win the poll, but why not?

A poll sounds good. I am semi-retired, but always up for planning and coming up with ideas. I can do some building, but don't want to commit to anything big.

Maybe this could be a nice break from Southwestwinds for a few weeks:
Magic Meridian
A long strip of land containing several biomes, from Arctic on one end, going through temperate forests, mountains, Mediterranean semi-deserts, actual deserts and canyons to a tropical rainforest on the other end. All on a continuum, a slice out of the Earth's surface as if it were a cake. Filled with sick rides, of course. Only a minimal amount of architecture, no references to countries or cultures, no theme zones, just the serene beauty of roller coasters in a natural setting.
The bench would have mostly a wide array of land blocks, foliage objects and roller coaster supports.

Going to toss my name into the pot for a multiplayer ncso/nincso map.
What he said. I'd get behind something like this.

I really like the idea Liam, although it seems like it would be suited to a very niche group of us and would have to be done perfectly. I actually would think only a handful of players could pull this off skillfully. Would need to have top notch coasters and even better landscaping and foliage.
