This is not an official topic, but who knows, your idea may be used for the next NE multiplayer server! It's always fun to discuss ideas.
- A realistic Six Flags park. Would be a nice change of pace from the park we're doing currently. The current park does not suit everyone's building style and preferences, so this park would cater to them.
- Space. 256x256, all blacked out. People can build space stations and planets and shit.
- NCSO. Preferably on a smaller map.
- Something like Three Villages, but with Thirty villages and infrastructure and stuff.
- A landscape in miniature. With continents, and cities that cover no more than a handful of tiles. Could be fun. Not for everyone though.

I'd like a really large realism map because it gives more ride freedom and is less object intensive than the current park... also gives more room for coasters since on the current map there wasn't a lot of room if you weren't there day one like me.. on the next park I really want to build a coaster, maybe even 2. A themed amusement park Would be really cool like along the lines of Dollywood, a park with themes but not as extensive as we're doing now -

Hyper realistic but with minor themes, not just bare rides over a parking lot... like Dollywood if you ask me, i'd also make a topic where the Community can discuss what rides and things they'd want to build and actually plan this one a little more than the current Mp park because if you want it to be realistic it can't be a giant mess. Also a langer map Would be netter for Some specific coaster types -

@BG making 2 coasters in a multiplayer map aim't gonna happen man . There are so many people building and not everyone can build a coaster. Building one coaster is already not for everyone, let alone 2. I feel like this was one of the major issues in this park as well, people were just trying to cramp stuff in everywhere. People should keep the overall picture in mind, even if this means you can not build a large hypercoaster that will take up half of the map. -

Personally - as someone who won't build on it - I'd really like to see either a hyper-detailed park or NCSO. Or both? Go for extremes.
(Contest-ish) idea;
Realism vs. Old-school
Two servers. One of them builds a hyper-realistic park (Raptor, Kumba, Starpointe). Other team builds a park more in the vein of Steve's old school project and nin's animal kingdom.
Additionally, elect a leader for the park. Particularly for a hyper-realistic park. Like BG said; "if you want it to be realistic it can't be a geiant mess."

I like the idea of a map lead who has final veto power to delete an area or (for more structured builds) approve a planned addition.

- timeline park with big emphasis on surroundings/infrastructure.
- semi-realistic park built on the pt1 or pt2 bench with a Jules Verne-esque theme.
- smaller steam punk park with a huge train station entrance.
- a Disney water park.
- any old scenario converted into something legit like #diamondheights. -

I'd be down for:
-Hyper Realism w theming but with tasteful/restrained level of detail
-Alton towers recreation
-NCSO or old school bench semi-realistic/classic NE style
-some kind of small, specialist park like a space/science/music/natural history center
Less interested in:
-Space map
-Infrastructure/city/village map
-Cedar fair / Six Flags style hyper realism
I agree that whatever route we go down there needs to be more planning at the beginning. Even if thats just sketching out a rough path layout with areas and potential locations of larger/smaller rides. Deciding on a coherent climate, landscape style and foliage palette early on will be helpful too.
Having so much fun with the current map anyway... It's a compositional disaster, sure, but I think at this point just embrace that it's been built in a very loose, organic way.

If any of you have a pair of balls, do an IoA or Disney park. Realistic parks is like playing on easy mode.

HERE I GO WITH MY CRAZY IDEAS OF THE DAY. DON'T READ THE REST OF THIS POST IF YOU ARE OFFENDED BY BATSHIT CRAZY IDEAS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
-Cramped, inner city park (Blackpool or Tivoli as examples)
-Cramped, themed park (Phantasialand-esque)
-Open park with loads of nature (Efteling or Alton)
-Small scale park on the top of a mountain (Fort Fun Abenteuerland)
-Fantasy Park about the river Nile (with african, egyptian and arabic themed areas)
-Fantasy Park based on Gloryhammer and their insane world full of unicorn invasions, evil wizards and space knights
-Meta Park, reflecting on different styles of writing and translating them into RCT.
-Same as above just with art
-Timeline park with different owners and therefore inconsistent park making (Walibi)

@ Kumba: We just did an IoA park, you should come check it out!
We should just man up and do a Cedar Point Recreation, two full maps.

The one in the NE Group Park screen? That's pretty nice, but didn't look like IoA, more BG or US'ish.

I don't know how I feel about a recreation, I'd prefer an original park. I like the realism idea though.

I feel like a CP recreation would be very hard to pull off, unless you were to severely limit the amount of people working on it for the sake of keeping a single vision throughout the park. Something cedarfair related or cedarpoint inspired would be great though. I'm definitely in favour of doing a more realistic park next.

I mean what we are doing now is already pretty realistic, we have backstages and supports and all that.
If not a CP recreation, we can do a "Kings" park. I've always wanted to do that, but never actually tried.
I have a ton of old material for it, and it actually is relatively themed, especially the main street. The parks are also somewhat "land" based, which works well for MP parks, we'd just have to make sure we build in a more cohesive manner than this first park.
