Thanks all for the support and encouragement!  I think G Force and myself are both eager to get into things and help keep the site running smoothly.

I will say I got a bit emotional for a moment when I glanced over the URL's to the user profile links in the main post.  I signed on to NE for the first time 14 years ago as member 221, and it serves as a powerful reminder how great this community is that all these years later we still have members stepping up to ensure the site lives on in the same well-maintained, highly-professional way.
 

I think it shows a lot when you look at all our member numbers. 46 - 221 - 10079 - 10890 - 10985 - 46480.

I think its great that we have a range from the long serving members of 14 years, to those of 10, to the newer more recent additions. Makes a great balance and representation of members from across the years.

I think this is a good move. Best of luck to you both and to the site's direction.
