Cool, thanks for adding that one. Interface is not great yet but for a good reason so okay!

Very cool, thanks for taking the time to add this!
I wonder is there a specific reason the rides are ordered in that manner? I think in the mean time until a drop down is possible it may be easier if they were listed in alphabetical order.

What about making giga track go straight up with the new feature, will it crash?
It will probably just become invisible because there are no sprites available. That's what happened when I tried to convert tight turns on car ride track to wooden coaster track at least. Guess you'll just have to build B&M track to fill in the gaps, but no merging will be necessary it seems. -

^you could also use the intamin impulse coaster track? no idea if it looks good tho, never tried

Are parks/rides using that feature compatible with vanilla RCT, or will you get an error trapper?

It crashes the game. However, for the crooked house track specifically it does not crash, just makes the track invisible (this is changed from vanilla, where certain elements were not present in the crooked house track).

They are compatible with vanilla if and only if they don't use track pieces present in OpenRCT2 but not vanilla. To my knowledge, this currently means steep slopes on the Junior track and certain pieces on the crooked house track.

Hopefully openrct2 can make new track sprites for the giga track, especially inverted elements.

@nicman: We will be at a point where we can add such elements in a not too distant future, but we would need sprites (images) for them.

I actually think this isn't too far away now. It could probably already be done on the Junior coaster, which is now fully implemented. Once the rest of the track paint is done I think it would actually be pretty easy and shouldn't require a new save format - the hard part is getting the new sprites to appear consistent with the original ones. -

One feature I'd love to see (but I am doubtful it can be done) is increasing the limits of trains that can run a coaster. Running more than two trains on a merged ride is pretty much impossible (since you have to use operating modes like boat hire), unless you make a huge station. I know there is some way to merge rides so that they can use a mode with blocks, but it is complicated as hell, and I haven't figured out how to do it on more complex rides.

Anyone else experiencing crashes when using the object selection feature on the H2H7 bench? I've tested it on many other saves and benches and it seems to work fine. It makes me think maybe an object is missing that's basic to the game or something in that bench. Sucks that I've got like 5 hours of work on the bench already and I hate parkdat with a passion, lol. -

Did you try going back to an earlier version of openrct? In my experience many parks have trouble with the object selector in openrct. -

I sometimes can't place large objects when using "ignore clearences". It says that I can't place objects because the land isn't owned by the park. Anyone have a quick fix?
