OpenRCT2 Build: 778
Git Hash: 9afdd04
Object: LMPUNDB1.dat (Liampie - Underbrush 1)
I've discovered it also happens with:
1kHAFGRD (1k half garden) http://www.nedesigns.../3308/1khafgrd/
1kHALFBS (1k half bush) http://www.nedesigns.../4450/1khalfbs/
So there are probably many others as well. It seems to me it is rendering the objects .5 units lower than it should.

So I downloaded OpenRCT2 and I'm impressed. Quick question: I started a park in RCT2, and I've opened it in Open. Can I continuing building on it and expect to be able to open in both games? What changes, if anything?

Opening a park in open won't change anything. Using certain features in open can make opening in rct2 not work, but (most of) those are clearly marked. -

The following features are incompatible with the vanilla game:- Invisible entrances (but entrances made invisible through hacks are fine)
- Steep slopes on the Junior track
- Trains longer than 16 cars (this limit includes zero cars and invisible cars)

Clutch. And what about using zeroing clearances or anything else in 8cars?
And does it run a bit fuzzier than the original game for anyone else? My computer seems to run not as cleanly now and has a few graphics bugs.

a question to the creators of open here,
I suggested the option to be able to make anything a lift here some time ago and I wondered if there are plans to implement this or if it's more a back burner kinda thing...
I also would like to know if anybody here managed to make a fallback without using vanilla?
-

I don't know whether the developers are planning anything, but I am planning to implement the chain lift thing as soon I have time to do so (which will probably be about 2 weeks from now). It shouldn't be too hard to implement but if it's anything like the last feature I implemented it may take a while for the pull request to be accepted (if it's accepted at all, of course).
What do you mean by a fallback?

If by fallback you mean what happens in Schwur des Kärnan, then yes that is possible to do in Open alone. PM me if you need a save file.

I know how to do it in vanilla, it's a very specific merge, it's basically you have it roll back onto another track that splits off...
-
X7123M3-256 Offline
You can do that in OpenRCT2 as well. But the track that splits off has to take a different path, so if you're thinking of having the train roll backward on the same track, you'd probably have to use a shoestring.

no it splits off aswell like you come onto the hill from the right and you leave backwards the left side... how is this done in open?
-

Exactly that so now i know how thanks man! Didn't think it'd be this easy in open -

Also the "this can't be made to work with block brakes" comment needs correcting because it actually can, I just didn't know how to do that when I wrote that. You still can't place a block on the backward section though.

So I set certain keys on my keyboard to do different things (open cheats, zoom out, etc.), but now the game reset those commands to the default keys. Any way to change this?
On an unrelated note, I may have lost 1.5 hours of work.

Don't know about the keys, but check the autosaves, there might be one more recent than 1.5 hours. Also, save frequently, as the game is still prone to crashing from time to time, especially if you are using cheats/hacks.

Hotkeys are saved in binary form in file called `hotkeys.cfg` on every change of them. There's also a button to explicitly reset them, perhaps you've clicked it by mistake?
