One question. I seriously doubt this would actually happen, but, what would happen if a person who doesn't have a parkmaker spot were to win first place. Would that get them a parkmaker spot?
Anyways, that's my question. I still want to be in...

Yeah, you're right... his section in the newest NE Callabo was astonishing. Unless it's like, some wack ass theme rule, this shall be one hard contest to win. Although I'd think that the second best person to win would be Kai. He's nuts, lol. -

OK... Mantis is in. And Corkscrewed is giving up. Now that, my friends, is a bad omen.

Is that even a reasonable question? Yeah, 50 dollars will be awarded for a not themed ride...So is this contest theming and rides, or just rides? I'm baffled.

Ok, I've decided im only going in this if i can get rct1 working.
I aint got a chance in hell with rct2.
If I do get rct working ill kick mantis' puny little cheeky fellow ass then ill take a stick, go to the beach and dig a hole.

OK, some updated details about the High Rollers Contest.
The workbenches will be in the 85x85 to 90x90 range. This is slightly larger then what I had originally planned, but I've gotten many IM's asking me to make sure that there will be enough room to make something worthwhile. While the size MAY intimidate some people, I think it's the ideal size for this contest. You will have all summer basically to work on this, so it shouldn't be too hard at all. We will be giving you the majority of June, July, and most of August to finish your entries, so this should be a walk in the park. Everyone is limited to only one entry, but we've been through that before. Also, a minor restriction. No more then 2 rides from the same coaster company may be used in the park. Now there are many ways of getting around this, but what we're referring to is:
-No more then 2 Beemers in the park (including inverted/steel twisters/dive machines/b&m flyer for rct2) Hyper Coasters will be flexible however.
-No more then 2 wooden coasters in the park.
That's all I can think of for now, the workbenches will most likely be posted tomorrow or the day after, and then it will be up to you guys.
We'll have a special e-mail address that all entries must be sent to.
Good luck everyone! -

You can do whatever you want with flat rides.
For instance, if you make a TA2K & a S&S Freefall ride, then that does NOT constitute the two S&S rides.
Only coasters for that rule. -

Could you post the coaster companies and the rides that go with them or something, because i'm crap at that sort of thing.....I mean, are wooden mouse coasters and reversers etc classed as 'wooden'?
And is it basically just build whatever you want? Because that will certainly make judging hard. Then again, Raven is probably more than ready for what's in store. -

Let's see. First off, Raven is not the only judge. We're going back to NE's traditional 5-judge committee, featuring myself, Raven-SDI, and three others undisclosed at the moment. And yes, there is basically no limit to what you can build. We're looking for the best quality thing to earn that $50.
mantis, there aren't really too many limits on the coasters. Here's the full list of what I'm talking about
-B&M
1.Inverted
2.Steel Twisters
3.Dive Machines
4.B&M Flying Coasters
-Wooden Coasters
1.Wood
2.Wood Twister
(so basically only the traditional woodies)
-Arrow
1.Suspended
2.4D
3.Arrow Looper
Now, also I forgot to mention. There is no custom scenery allowed for rct2. We will provide some custom scenery, and that will be the set workbench. This is done to even out the playing field between rct1 and 2 (and to stop ToonTowner from dominating everything with his custom scenery ). Any more questions?
