General Chat / NE's Great Travel Survey

Time for another survey! This time it's about travel. How much does NE travel? And how does NE travel? What are the differences in travel behaviour between different nationalities? Lots of semi-interesting questions.
Because NE's polls don't include the option for open answers, we're going to do it partially in a poll, and partially in the comments. Vote in the poll, and if you want, post a list of all countries you've visited below.
I wanted to open a topic about 'What countries have you visited in your life?', as a spin-off from the coolest cities topic. But I thought, I might as well make it a Great Survey...

Countries I've visited:
- Netherlands (home country)
- Belgium
- Germany
- Luxembourg
- Switzerland (passing through)
- Italy
- France
- Spain
- Greece
- Turkey
- Norway
- Denmark
- United Kingdom
- Curaçao
- South Africa
(Definition of visited: literally set a foot on the ground and inhaled the air. Disqualifies countries you've flown over, countries you drived through by car do probably qualify) -

I'm such a lame traveller
- Lived in the US [California] for a year
- Visited the Netherlands multiple times for family
- Crossed over into Germany I think once or twice
- Live in Australia
Not sure if I should include my place of birth, Canada...have never 'visited' per se because I was just born there and have unfortunately not travelled there since.

Outside of the U.S. I've only been to Haiti, Grand Cayman, Jamaica, and Cozumel, Mexico. All of which were okay really, nothing too special from what I can remember. Although it was really cool in Mexico because I was at a bar there when they beat Cameroon in the world cup last year, and boy they really know how to celebrate!

Haven't really left the continent, unfortunately. I want to visit all over Europe, and Australia. -

Born and raised in the US. And I think I spent an hour in Canada once just to say I've been there. I'm not much of a flyer because it costs money and I prefer driving places anyways.

Yeah it's a pretty bad representation. Travelling to other countries from the USA is much more of an ordeal than in Europe, and some states are similar in size to or larger than European countries. If I counted states I think I'd be well over 22.

All counties/Parishes in the lower 48 I've been through either via car or train.
I've been to Victoria, British Columbia and several small towns in Alaska as well (took a cruise in HS)
Green are planned trips, dark red is my home counties.
The NOLA trip is a fresh add.
The trip along California and Nevada was flying in and taking a rental, took AMTRAK in most of the Pac-NW trip and NE trip after flying in. The isolated counties were just flying in (Orlando, Tampa, Chicago, etc) Everywhere else has been hit via road trips.
