Asking this in a completely non-demeaning way, but what's the difference between this game and Rct3? The coasters look better, but the scenery and graphics themselves look pretty near identical. I'm guessing that might be because the custom scenery makers for this started on Rct3, but not sure.
Is this just Rct3 with better coasters and a better interface? How does it run compared to Rct3? I remember having to have a beastly computer to run any park smoothly.

^from what I've seen, it plays pretty well on moderate to good machines and only really starts getting laggy once your parks get sizeable. which is of course something we're into, but whatever

The graphics are superior to RCT3.......the ability to build on multiple grids creates a much freer UI. The colors are so much more vibrant. The coaster physics are incredible, and with the smoothing tool and some tweaking people have created some truly amazing pieces of work. I don't have lag issues.....but I just bought a behemoth of a machine because I need to run Z Brush, Maya, Photoshop and Painter simultaneously for work. It's absolutely a better game. It takes RCT3 and blows the roof off of it. And with 3 axis rotation, the ability to create really amazing buildings is what has me hooked.

This game is sick but I find myself too annoyed with the swinging camera on POVs every time I watch them to really get into it. Someone needs to make a mod to get rid of that, it totally brings me out of the feeling of watching an actual POV.
I don't know why it bothers me so much but I find it so frustrating

No mods needed, they are still developing the game and looking at the community feedback to get things right. Always remember anything can change from now until release and I'm sure they wont stop listening to the community then either. They are making it with our style of play in mind!
Cocoa have you clicked free look mode? I'm not sure what you mean by the camera but paths/coasters have different camera options. You can also press T for different movement

I don't actually own the game so I don't know, but in every POV I've watched the camera sort of swings to anticipate the turns (especially bad on inversions) and ruins the realistic pov illusion. maybe everyone just likes that though idk.
or maybe it looks funny because its not shaking/rattling a little bit. they should put in a feature that simulates roughness correctly

I think its to simulate the guests movement. I've not really noticed its to be fair. You can freely look around whilst on the ride. Update on my coaster, slowly getting there

I think the queue would look better without that initial loop around to go under the rock arch. The path is bright/big enough to pop out against the landscape and plays really nicely with the coaster where it has longer, shallower curves.

I agree i was playing around with it because the queue didn't seem long enough. The entrance gate was originally under the first arch in the landscape. The ride is too close to that entrance gate at the moment, a tall rider would probly lose their feet haha
Its a shame its quite a demanding game, id love to see people here building with it. Thanks for the comments, i will get a video up on youtube once its finished.

Gorgeous work Richie. And I agree...it's a very demanding game. I keep telling myself to edit, but then I throw the kitchen sink at each building and themed section which takes a stupid crazy amount of time. -

Richi, everything you make is litterally the same, its kind of hilarious. Still, its really good though, definitely best coasters I've seen in the game so far.

Haha well I have never finished a project, i have the attention span of a .. Richie? Once i get this nemesis idea out of my head i can try something new. It's actually not too far off being completed Its so easy to put a design into the game now without the restrictions in rct2. Was never happy with anything i'd build
Nemesis has always been my favourite ride.

Find myself spending ages trying to find uses for objects, theres not really a theme to the ride will just see what its like when ive filled the space. Think i should tighten up the last turn into the brake run? It doesn't have that much speed left its a nice gentle run into the brakes at the moment.
(white walls are temporary for lining up the panels to make a wooden fence like on the left)
