I don't know why there is any discussion about criticism and how respected a member has to be to be allowed to criticise. I went through the Thread and didn't really notice any criticism that crossed any sort of line.
I also don't like this whole thing about bulding something. I mean, to say "I hate Gigavolt" doesn't take 20 accolades. I for example happen to love rollercoasters and that's why I would say something like this.

If you're still kind of new to a community and you start to disrupt integral parts of said community by completely negative and 1-dimensional thinking without contributing positively whatsoever, then don't be surprised to receive some sort of backlash.
Your "I don't care about LL" comments were absolutely uncalled for and unnecessary and completely ruined one match topic and hurt another one as well. Still here you are, going at it yet again in regards to the solely negative park feedback from before.
Add to that the fact that you're trying to get LL excluded from a competition on a website that only ever got started because of LL. NE and LL will rightfully go together until the very end of this website, whether you like it or not. It's part of NE's identity, it's part of the traditions, and there are still people out there playing LL as we have seen just this round.
The reason why respect and reputation were brought up is because your way of discussing didn't actually involve any acknowledging or compromising, it only focused on forcing your opinion onto everyone. That's the point where it'd have been handy for you, had you been a respected long time member of the community, who can risk making some bold statements. With well reputed members you know their general intentions are to keep these games, the community, and the website alive, so everything they suggest is meant in good spirit. With you I'm pretty sure that many LLers were asking themselves what you have ever even done in RCT, or in this community to claim the right to completely discredit LL.

It wasn't necessarily in response to anything in particular in this thread and it wasn't about people being critical, it was about people being ONLY critical, and only bad mouthing people's work in a disrespectful way.
And it wasn't pointing towards only one member, or naming those members either.

In regards to the parks...
Bermuda:
I thought this was fantastic and refreshing because it actually finally was a "lost island" type park that pushed the idea through 100%. More often than not I find the lost island theme to be an excuse to give stuff a tropical theme but this was purposeful and creative throughout. I really liked all the wrecks, especially the big sunken ferry type ship on the coast line and I also found the movie references to be well done and funny. I appreciate that for Jack Sparrow for example you didn't actually do the Black Pearl like it has been done many times before but one of the small boats he usually finds to get to land after having lost his ship yet again. As others have said too, I didn't care for the Flyer or the volcano too much. I absolutely loved Magnetite though. It flowed well, had amazing interaction, and a good order of special elements as well. The cave in the back was spectacular, although it's obviously going to be difficult to wreck a plane into a cave. But I'm definitely willing to look past that because it looked absolutely great and fit the theme very well. The plane bridge was fantastic too like others have said. The overall archy in the entrance area was great too, my favorite bits are probably the ones that are visible on the preview screen though. Overall I really really enjoyed this and obviously it's no wonder Cocoa worked on this one. But great job to ITM and DJ as well. I think the execution of concept was the most important part here anyway, not just archy/foliage/rides/etc. In general it's just a very fun park though!
World's Fair:
I enjoyed this one as well though I must say I actually wouldn't have thought Robbie actually worked on it (with the amount of Robbie mimics that are around currently). I thought you would've dictated the concept though. Knowing that you study architecture and have probably had many lectures about the World's Fairs and have probably seen the remains of those in Paris in real life I definitely can follow the conceptual thoughts behind this. I liked the entrance with the Eiffel Tower and the small parts of the Seine you could still see in front of the entrance. I also noticed the one Haussmann type Parisian building next to the expo, definitely had to be a reference to those in here somewhere. The actual expo has great content too. It obviously focuses of inventions and technologies from those times and currently being in Wuppertal a lot I really appreciated the suspended tram! The rides were designed well and all made clear what the expo building was about. I think the inside of the halls, despite perhaps not even being fully done everywhere (idk if you were going to add more) work very well to fulfill the concept and theme of the park. What I will say though is that I didn't really like the outside part much. You said somewhere that you meant to have the lake as the central point of the World's Fair around which everything revolves. That's what I guessed too when I looked at the park but as others have said giving the path/the lake/the facades of the buildings some more breathing space in between would've REALLY improved the park. It's all a bit on top of eachother and that brings down the atmosphere and structural concept for me and makes it less clear.

I ended up not voting on this, I couldn't make up my mind. Both parks were excellent.
I loved all of the little details in Bermuda and Worlds Fair overall was really pretty breathtaking. I don't mind the abundance of detail at all. Great work by both teams.

That's a very fair point you make Fisch, I agree with you there.
Now I'm wondering who Louis is talking about, I think most (if not all) of the reviews or comment's I've read about the parks this H2H had some positives in there too, so I must've missed something.

Fisch, I have no idea how people can think, that I don't want NE to succeed. I want NE to succeed. Hell, I even think I did more video reviews than controversial comments on this site. I try my best to build stuff because I'm aware that this site needs to have parks released, regardless of the quality. I didn't feel good about any of my releases here, but what made me feel even worse is that noone gives a damn. I did send in a "finished" NCSO park and got 4 votes. It didn't deserve an accolade of some sort but it hurts thinking about it not being able to get over the threshold altogether. I participated in the micro madness tournament without ever dreaming about getting 1 vote and I signed up for H2H while being aware that I would just be a burden for my team. Why did I do that? Because I knew that those contests live and die with their participants and I wasn't sure that H2H would see so many sign ups and I knew that my participation in micro madness couldn't hurt.
And I wouldn't be so vocal about getting LL out of H2H if it wasn't founded on some harsh reality. You have this romantic idea of NE being founded on LL and so LL should stay in the community. I agree to that. Somewhere I posted that there is nothing wrong with having LL parks released and LL parks getting accolades (which is by the way the main feature of NE), but you have to have some boundaries. If LL matchups get half the votes of RCT2 matchups then something is wrong and it already has been in the last H2H. It's just strange to have a community-vote based contest with content that half of the voter base doesn't vote on.
But maybe you're right and I didn't bring anythng positive on the table. I only build shit, I don't review as much as I would like and I don't produce as much videos as I would like. Let's just be honest: My presence on this site is completely irrelevant.

I like your videos. Opinions, maybe not . But I do enjoy your park wrap-ups. Especially when you do them with mci

Cocoa's style is so obvious, it's like when I open the park thousands of Cocoa shouting at me: "hey I'm Cocoa! vote for me!" When you see a little wooden house with wacky color on the wall, it must be built by Cocoa!

I wasn't even talking about you. I find your opinions fine as they always bring positive and negative. I also think what you do with youtube is invaluable to the community. Your presence on this site isn't completely irrelevant. You've started an interesting debate about people's opinions on LL, that isn't necessarily a bad thing.

also at least he's handing the LLv2 round recaps over to MCI rather than just ignore the LL parks.

I know bashing Version1 is quite fun, love doing it myself, but let´s keep in mind here that this is still MY youtube-channel, even if version1 got the password and is producing videos there, too. When I say there will be H2H wrap-ups then there will be H2H wrap-ups of every park in the contest. Doesn´t matter if it´s rct2, LL, rct3, NoLimits, ThemeParkStudio or freaking minecraft. The LL-wrap-ups got delayed, because I was not able to get LL working on my laptop while travelling through half of germany last weekend. The Stalions vs. Hurricane matchup will be ready tomorrow.
Good night!

In all seriousness, I felt that this was the hardest match to vote for honestly. Both parks were simply stunning, and I had a really really hard time deciding on who to vote for. Looking back again and again at both of these parks, and finding more and more details that I missed before I cannot appreciate enough all of the work that really goes into making these parks. Things like this makes me question whether or not I would really be cut out for a competition like this, but then again who knows.

I thought the topic was Worlds Fair vs Bermuda? I believe we 're drifting off here. I give my opinion on the parks later.
