H2H7 / Best H2H parks ever?

I tried to make a dream team a few days ago, consisting of players with good runs in previous seasons. I found it hard to pick outstanding player-seasons, because a lot of times a player contributed just one or one and a half amazing park... I think I'm better at rating parks individually, they're more comparable.

Disney's American Waterfront was my wallpaper for a couple of months, that should express my view on the topic.

Wow, all the LL ones look amazing...

for realism my absolute favorite is lenox mall, it's just such a shame the whzz kids didn't show up for the finals. i really like Southport pleasure beach and Belmont shores a lot too. in terms of fantasy probably corsair veridian, it has really great landscaping combined with awesome atmosphere and architecture, what's not to love?

Wow, I've forgotten about so many of those parks, Liam. Looking back I'd say your list is pretty spot on. I remember seeing Gotheburg for the first time and losing my mind, ha. Great stuff. And I had actually completely forgot about Shadowlands too! Have to check that out again.

In no order: Erwindale, La Rêve Parapluie, Lenox, DAW, Battlefield, Disney's Shadowlands, Slime Meridian, Testament, Siege of Jerusalem, Kitabasaki and Belmont Shores.

 

I guess RV was my best, by then there was AC with Corkscrewed in H2H3 and looking back I still love the Quarry and even my first H2H entry, Parkmakerz! with Six Frags. Last season hurts to think about, but Terra was some of the most fun I had on a park and it won.

 

Gotheburg got fucked! It lost game 1 (was best of 3 then) of the H2H3 finals to a weird fantasy park the X-Sector made using Fright Nights' bench/landscape, which he didn't even change much. I think that might be a DQ these days. Yeah so chalk this one up with other Hurricanes loss parks that I cannot fully enjoy.

1000% Kukuana, remains a major part of the reason i continue to play rct, my favorite park ever. 

Kukuana is pure class

H2h4 is just top in my books. Shadowlands, mont st michel, alice in wonderland, these are still parks i look to when i need inspiration. Shadowlands in particular is just flawless parkmaking imo, the cyberspace area continues to surprise me even today.

I always thought Mamba Kilima by X250 and Chapelz was criminally underrated in the memories. Right or wrong (probably wrong) it beat Kitabasaki Dragonland, and yet it never comes up as being that great of a park.   

It was during the part of H2H4 where RCT2 vs. LL was something of an advantage for RCT2, but they still had to be in the same neighborhood, and while it's certainly arguable that the better park lost, it's hard to deny that they both deserved a win.

are there any convenient ways to look at the old h2h stuff like votes and weeks and finals? I remember the old site used to have some fun h2h specific pages with all the info displayed nicely. I'd love to go through and see what won where and why

 

the comments on kitabasaki are hilarious compared to how we rate it today.
