H2H7 / Advertise yourself!

Hey guys, I thought it would be fun and maybe useful for some of the newer players if we made a topic where people can advertise yourselves. Post some screens, pros/cons, etc. Not sure if we really need this, but I just want to see what everyone posts

 

Cocoa: RCT2, NCSO, LL

 

1-1 record in h2h6 (Worlds of Fun loss (fuck Lijiang (fuck nesting brackets)), Neverland win)

 

top of the third round draft pick last season, but IMO I've definitely improved since then

 

Pros:

-great with color

-great with atmosphere

-can work at a decent pace these days

-solid dual game player

-solid architecture

-got lots of ideas! very motivated/inspired to work atm

-can whip up a decent layout

-in Australia, so time difference is super useful (I build while you sleep!)

 

Cons:

-limited rct2 hacking abilities

-starting university (and other commitments) in a couple weeks, so less time for rct than previously. (although I can always make time). Also, exams are in June so could mess up playoffs.

-not good at realistic detailing bits

-I haven't released anything since, well last h2h (except a pt4 prelim)

-tendency to cramp things

Cocoa, that LL is brilliant.

 

LL/ncso player. (Really just LL now)

 

Pros

- Nostalgic LL.

- Quick worker.

- Good themer.

- Good station/ big structure builder.

 

Cons

- Layouts.

- Content.

- Too Wide Paths.

- Need to use more codex. (what i'm building atm)

Well I'm a captain, but going to advertise myself too. Doesn't hurt to have people want to work with you.

Pros:
Dual style: fantasy/realism
Dual game: RCT2 and LL
Can make objects
Can hack pretty much anything
Great ideas
Strong theme skills
Organized
Laid back

Cons:
Fresh to H2H
May lose time due to work late in the season
Slow building

I like this thread. I have no need to advertise since everyone knows I am the best player here, so I expect nothing less than a top ten draft pick from the captains this season.

pros:

 

- finished a silver in 2 months time (Kings Valley)

 

- good at both realism as semirealism (haven't tried out fantasy yet but i could be down for that)

 

- i've got a lot of ideas, especially for historical parks/variations on that historic things (like Sea of Sagas).

 

- nice and clean style

 

- highschool student: lots of spare time

 

cons:

 

- haven't done a H2H before, but i'm really eager to start. from looking through the forums and past parks h2h always has seemed to appeal the most.

 

- i only really excel at CSO, i can do NCSO and LL too but don't expect too much of it.

 

- high school student focussed on getting good grades. If i have a major test coming up i can't really play much. but that doesn't happen too often.

Pros:

- Won a few H2H matches before

- Can hack and make shitty objects

 

Cons:

- Horribel Speller

- Color blind

- Only use one type of bush

- Brown is my favorite theme

- Think hacking equals aesthetic beauty

- Likely a captain and cannot be drafted in H2H7... guess that's kinda a big con?

From early 2010 till about two weeks ago I hadn't played RCT for more than 15 minutes

LL and NCSO player

 

Pros:

- I can build relatively quickly.

- I enjoy Codex. 

- I can do all major RCT2 hacks. (WinXP ftw)

- I have won 5 accolades.

 

Cons:

- All of those accolades were bronze/silver.

- I can't pull off detailing too well. 

- Irrational love for dolphin statues.

RCT2 CSO and NCSO, and RCTLL.

Pros:

- I can fill a map up with pink rocks very fast.
- I consider myself good at LL.
- I can handle the expansion packs.

Cons:

- All i know about H2H is that you build a park together and i'm not sure about anything except that.
- Not a master at NCSO, but i signed up for it still.
- If the park doesn't feature a clusterfuck of pink rocks, i will probably ruin it very fast.
