Can't there be another captain/team? Only 3 more players are needed to make it to 74 and that would mean there will be 20 undrafted players, an high number of undrafted players.

That would a) draw out the season by a lot, 2) create 7 teams, which would be extremely hard to fit into a round robin ε) would basically throw a huge spanner in the works.
not to say that I would be against the idea in any way, it just seems a nightmare to execute

I'm afraid the logistics of that would be too complex, like Sam says. This contest is going through the roof. Geewhzz ...... ?!??
You know that the only logical next step is that you sign up as well? -

Yeah I figured, its just too bad that some (mostly new) players won't be able to play at all, kinda disappointing after signing up and all and then finding out you won't be able to play.

How much could Louis really "cheat" anyways? Stealing themes? We're all too good at the damn game to need to resort to such pettiness. Plus I know if I was on his team I wouldn't be happy to see him abusing his powers, so I trust that it wouldn't last long without being reported anyways. I'm very much looking forward to a relatively drama-free and friendly competition among the community.

last seaon, dirk, the people who didn't make it made their own duo contest. i'd like to see that done this year, and hell it might help them out on the replacements list as well.

1) You'd be surprised at who gets drafted and who doesn't. Everyone here seems to have such low self esteem.
2) If you don't get drafted, the replacement list is ALWAYS used, I think I picked up 2 players from it last season.
3) If you are on the replacements list, it is essentially your job, along with those that didn't sign up, to keep screens flowing, plus if you show what you can do, you increase your chances of being picked. Consider it a mini-competition in its own right!

I've decided I'm going to stop being sorry for myself and saying that I won't be drafted.
Any of the captains would be lucky to have me. I expect to be picked by the third round. If you want to win H2H7 and make some killer LL parks, draft me. (Park ideas include: Have you seen Antioch? and Slime Meridian II) -

Just saying the whole ref/player thing is probably going to effect relations to my 'potential' team *concerning the forums. I'm being blatantly honest here.
I, of course like Louis, but even if he doesn't tell anyone, even those close to him, what he sees, does he still get to use everything for personal use, even subconsciously?
I'm pretty guarded of what I do in the game, for whatever reason, and I would consider myself underrated because of it, and this "conflict of interest" situation, as it was well put, is weird to me.

Just throwing this out there: teams of 11.
Now that is an idea, might have to change some of the rules to accommodate an extra player to make sure they would be used, but I'm sure that wouldn't be to difficult. -

If he does something consciously, we'd be able to tell, wouldn't we? And we trust him not to do that anyway.
If he does something subconsciously, what's the worst that'll happen? He'll try a little harder and make a bit better of a park? Is that a bad thing? I'd think he'd try to avoid that as much as possible anyways, knowing him. -

For the other team, perhaps.
Good parks>Winning though.

There's a couple of places it could go that are less than 100% fair and sporting for everyone involved mostly to do with Louis! not keeping anything he sees in other team forums to himself.
Let's say Lou notices that the Le Redditors team forum has a few posts saying they can't finish week 3 and are planning to just take the loss; he could tell his team to not worry about week 3 and that those builders can start working on week 5 or semis or whatever. Or if Lou sees that the Flailing Dutchmen have CoasterEd and RRP and Mala on a park he can strategically suggest that his team either switches their plans to bring in their own big guns or plan to not work very hard on that week.
I'm not suggesting Lou is the type who would do this casually or intentionally, but it could be hard to have any communication with your team while constantly trying to make sure you aren't revealing or implying hidden information. -

Not saying that Louis would do this either, but that is an extremely valid point. That'd be difficult for anyone in general.

I have no problems with Louis as a player and referee. He has enough integrity to not misuse his powers.

Those are the points that I'd like to think people can trust me on. Those are very big situations, not little tiny ones, my team would know I passed it on and I would know I passed it on.
I know every single captains top pick. I know most second picks. I know a lot of 3rd picks, in some cases I know the whole draft order for them. If you're suggesting that I wouldn't keep team forum information to myself, then I could just as easily tell captains who is picking who to ensure they really get who they want.
If people don't trust me then I won't play. No point in arguing over shit.
