I think all of these scores are pretty fair too, although the votes are usually so consistent there was no way any of these could be really controversial. Only Escher Islands is a bit hard to score... hence why it was a concept creation in the first place, I guess.

I'm not sure if I agree with them being fair scores. When I'm voting, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to be voting completely as I would if it was a score from when the park was released, or whether I should be comparing it a little more to today's standards.

 

For example, Aero's Wormwood, I'm the low vote on that at 65%, which I thought was generous as it is. Looking at some other recent parks that have scored 65% and you're looking at parks like Cocopa Bay, Bosrijk, Spessart Park, all of which are so much better than Aero's Wormwood. Yet everyone apart from myself rated it at above 70%?

 

If we were scoring them on what they were when released, then they should reflect the accolade they were originally given (Wormwood should be 85% for Spotlight), and if we're scoring them based on now then these parks should probably be lower than what they are. I think it's a little confusing putting them somewhere in the middle as it feels like I'm saying these parks are superior to parks being built today.

Usually I vote with respect to other parks of that time, but it just depends I guess.  Probably never voted on something as if it was released today, just to hard to really come up with a score that way.  Styles are too different, and giving a bunch of old parks middle of the road scores because they are old kind of feels pointless.
