I'm sure I posted this in the wrong section, but I'm just trying to figure out what I need to have installed and running to open some of the parks that are downloaded here.
I haven't played any of the RCT games in so long as a matter of fact I've been a member here for at the least 8 years and didn't even remember it.
I obtained a copy of the RCT2 triple thrills pack and I've gotten back into the game. I'm ashamed at myself with how bad I am at doing what used to be routine things for me, but I know its just a matter of time.
Either way I want to download some parks from here to use for inspiration, especially in the scenery department, so any information that could be given to me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you again.

Nothing special is required to open RCT2 parks from here. Some will have .DAT files included with them - these need to be copy/pasted manually to your install directory's "ObjData" folder, as the game cannot do it automatically. The rest should install themselves. You might get an error trapper once, but try the save file again and it should open (this happens when large changes are made to the ObjData folder). RCTReliAble is designed to be run alongside a particular save - usually it will be included with the park in the .zip. If you don't run it, stuff will just break down a lot. The actual utilities for RCT2 are 8cars per trainer and Son of Beast, both of which aren't necessary to open anything.
For RCT/CF/LL parks, obviously you'll need the original game and something called the Drexler Patch. Search the forums.
