Is there a money cheat or something? I thik this game has tons of potential but I'd like to play around with the ride editor a bit more freely

Money is irrelevant at the moment until they fully implement the economy. There is money but you cant spend as much as you like at the moment.

Has anybody any tipps for doing Barrel Rolls/Zero-G Rolls? Mine are always weird
How are you doing them? For barrel rolls i know RRP prefers a 1/3 method doing 3 pieces at 120, 240 and 360 degrees. I think this is the best way without hacking currently
I find the current way of doing barrel rolls a bit ugly and tend to hack them in. This is done fairly easily. Build a straight flat piece around 6 or 7 squares long and save the game.
Open the save game in word pad and scroll to the bottom. where the last line should be "Straight" scroll to the right side of that line and change total rotation to -5. and delta rotation to 355. (Note the . after the numbers) then save.
Zero G rolls are a bit more complex. I tend to do 4 pieces at 90,180,270,360. but experiment and see what looks best.
As for my adventures last night
I managed to modify a beyond vertical drop coaster with the wing coaster to make a passable Dive Machine. (A type of coaster thats planned to be added anyway i believe)
And with some more intensive hacking added a screaming squirrel coasters too.

Looks great,screaming squirrel blueprint?
For rolls, 3-4 sections is better than 2. But it also depends on the length of the section

Most of the things I've shown off here are available for download on the nexus

Managed to bodge up a shuttle loop within the current limits of the game. Magic reversing trains and all

And a B&M style hyper with a steeper drop. Not perfect but certainly better than the standard one

Mav very kindly sent me the export from NL2 so I can play around with it.
Its going to be quite a complex task converting it correctly. But I did some tinkering last night and got the track into game using just the X,Y,Z positions, So there is no banking or data like lifts and stations added.
Unfortunately the file uses almost 1500 nodes so the track looks like this
But as a proof of concept its coming along nicely so far.

This topic will be moving to Theme Park Discussion soon.
Uh wha?
I tried making an RMC using a bit of simple modification. But the results weren't great. Think I know how to fix it but cant be arsed yet

Glad to see you got the coaster going roomie. If you want me to convert anything you make just let me know!

I do have a question Mav. Was the ride made using that technique where theres a node every few feet?
If so do you have one with fewer nodes?
I think i have a way around it but would be good to try both kinds out
Cheers

It was not roomie. I threw that together in about 10 minutes and did mostly basic shaping. I can still try to cut down on the nodes if you want, but I assume the 1500 nodes comes from the csv file needing to be more accurate.

Ok Mav thats all i needed to know I think i can work around it anyway. Seiboff has suggested a way to combine the nodes. going to see how that pans out.

Great having Seb reading the forums and having direct contact with the devs. Long may it continue.
