Nice,so its possible. Wonder if tunnels can be enabled/disabled in the same way without adjusting the land around the section. Had a go at re-assembling the assets bundles in unity but ended up with a 2kb file :s

Seen what someone managed to mod into the game? Only a freaking RMC

    Edit
Looking closely I think it's just very clever building using a mouse and wood supports. But it looks alright. The metal supports kind of ruin it.

Awesome, needs a default support blocker :)

Wow you guys are destroying this. Looks incredible... ill have a crack soon i reckon

    Hey guys

Does anyone round here have NL2? I believe theres a way of exporting a coaster as spline data into a .csv file.

I don't have NL2 on me while im away but if anyone could send me or upload an exported CSV of a coaster I'd be really appreciative. :)

EDIT: hmmm its possible this only works in the Pro version :(

    Cheers

    Dave

Well I have the pro version.  I could upload you something if you want.

  • Roomie%s's Photo

That would be awesome Maverix :)

If you could export a CSV of any fairly simple full circuit coaster that would be amazing.

Id love to see a scwarzkopf looper from No limits imported into parkitect :)

Makes me wonder about supports in game, how are they generated and could they be fully custom aswell without modelling each one individually?

Does the game use a similar positioning method for those?

  • Maverix%s's Photo

Well I've got the file Roomine, but the site won't let me upload it here.  Shoot me your e-mail and I'll send it to you :)

  • Roomie%s's Photo

Supports wouldn't be affected by the way I'm doing things. I guess it could be possible for those guys that can edit unity stuff.

Someone made a nice random landscape generator yesterday with that.

As for NL imports I'm not even sure how I'm going to go about this but I'll give it a go. The standard NL exports seem to be encrypted. And the CSV export from Pro is the only one that seems to have the raw data for the notes in.

I have a question: NL2 uses NURBs internally, whereas you were talking about Theme Parkitect using cubic bezier splines earlier. Does the exporter perform the conversion, or are you planning to do that yourself? (I don't have NL2, so I wouldn't know). I don't know much about NL2 or Theme Parkitect so this may be totally irrelevant, but it's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread.

This is what im Trying to figure out. But I'm not in the best position to do it without access to NL at the moment. The coder behind Parkitect said theres no reason it shouldnt be doable. I'm just looking into it at the moment.

Sounds like an interesting project. Hope you get it figured out.

Diagonal corkscrews! still new to me :)

Still tweaking this aswell, really plays up to my desire to tweak and repeat. A bit like custom supporting a woody in RCT

  • Version1%s's Photo

Why are the corcscrews in the first picture in the wrong direction?

  • Roomie%s's Photo

Looks good RRP. The recreation of the Vekoma corkscrew is excellent.

Nothing much to report while i wait for the file from Mav.

Just been playing around with different elements. Below theres a modified dive loop with an offset, a better zero-g-roll that uses one piece rather than several and a proper horseshoe curve :)

Nice coasters. Now make them pretty!

Qucik question: What is the difference between the soundtrack tier and the regular alpha in the long run?

  • Roomie%s's Photo

Nothing really. you just get the soundtrack and a couple of wall papers included I think.

Game wise it is exactly the same.
