The biggest issue with early access is that as soon as you "release" something it's not likely too much is going to change. Everyone that's optimistic about it thinks that the team are just going to go through and rip everything out and replace the foundation with better stuff, and it's just not going to happen. What you see now is more or less what the final product will be. Sure they'll bump up some textures, sure some sounds will be re-tooled, sure the animations will be fixed, and the economy will likely be tweaked a lot. But they're not going to re-do the coaster engine from the ground up, which needs to happen. They're not going to completely alter the style the peeps are in. The biggest change I see them making is incorporating a simple version of the piece-by-piece builder that already exists in UGC. It will likely never be as powerful as Planet Coaster's, but they might be able to make up for it if they creative way more native content.

I don't think the coaster editor is terrible... I've seen some pretty good designs using the original editor so I know there is potential there. If they don't revamp that I don't think it's the end of the world. It's definitely a system you have to adapt to, that's for sure. The biggest thing for me is the support work. They need to update that so you know, you don't get your head or legs taken off and die haha.
No Limits just needs to come out with a full on theme park creator lol atm it's really only good for making roller coasters.

That's why I want Planet Coaster to have an FVD-based system as an alternative to the node-based one it has now. Let most people use the node-based system then auto-smooth the shit out of it so it's passable. Let people who want to get serious about it use the FVD system to its full potential. The scenery engine already exists and is quite good, and I think it makes more sense to tweak the coaster engine in PC rather than invent a scenery engine from scratch in NL.

My biggest gripe with the game is the lack of ability to build custom structures. The shops and kiosks look silly and without the ability to make buildings I'll just stick with RCT3. So much great custom scenery available.

The functionality has been added via the UGC system, but it's pretty rough and doesn't work for detailing at all.

I shouldn't laugh but seems so true. Be aware this video is probably not for those of a younger disposition.

Now that I have Planet Coaster, I really wish I could get my money back from RCTW........it sucks beyond belief!
