Ask the Experts / How Do You Put Another Coaster's Train On Another Coaster's Tr

So far I've just used 8cars > Edit Rides, but that comes with reliability issues. Can someone please explain how to do a workaround which doesn't ruin the ride w/o RCTreliable?

Make the station of the TRAIN type you want, and merge the other TRACK type for the rest of the ride. In theory your ride will consist of two roller coasters, and since the station has the correct train type, that should solve your issue.

Merging to get another train type is ridiculous. Don't ever do that. Just change the train type in the edit rides window. Merging is a suitable solution in this specific case though: do the merge like Faas explained, but in addition to that change the station/train ride's (not the track ride's) operating mode to 'Crooked House'. Rides in crooked house mode cannot break down.

Or use a dummy station. That's my goto solution for this problem, since its much easier to do on windows 7, and comes with the small benefit of rotating the stations to a more realistic angle if you can get the stations in the right places.
