RCT Discussion / Issues With CTRL + SHIFT Keys in Parallels

Has anybody had problems with control and shift going completely apeshit while running Parallels? In order to enable either of the keys, I have to right click, which on my Mac track pad is two fingers. Pressing both keys deletes a piece of scenery and its impossible to go from a control into a shift. Its making building the most simple structures basically impossible. I suspect there's some conflict with shortcuts between the right click function and CTRL+shift but have yet to find it in either Parallels or Mac settings. KB Parallels online help guide hasn't fixed anything either. I'm running Windows 8 on Parallels 8.0 and Mac OS X 10.9.1. Let me know if you have had a similar problem and fixed it because I'm out of ideas.

Would a two-button mouse help? What about re-binding ctrl? I'm not sure if you can do that with parallels, but RCT lets you rebind any key. Just set CTRL to Q or something else unused, and hopefully that will work.

CTRL and SHIFT weren't in RCT's rebind settings unfortunately.
Also worth mentioning, SHIFT+backspace(closing all windows) works perfectly fine.
And its Triple Thrill Pack No CD downloaded from Amazon. Not sure if any of the controls got messed with in this version.

I had this same problem, turns out there's an option if you go to configure your settings for the virtual machine, then go to keyboard and mouse, then select the 'Optimize for Games' option for the keyboard. That should solve your problem.
