CONTEST GUIDELINES
 

 Please note that failure to follow any of the following rules will result in disqualification.

 

Workbenches
We have decided that there will be no set workbench for this contest. Everybody has free reign and the only restriction you have is the 15x15 or 225 tile requirement. You may also work in RCT2 or RCTLL and NCSO is also allowed.

 

Reserves List
We have decided on 64 entrants. The remaining 6 players form a reserves list, the people who make up the list are unfortunately made up of people who are relatively unknown at this site. Please don't take offence to this decision, we don't like to operate on a first come first serve basis and this was the most logical way of doing it. If you are on the reserve list, you still have a massive chance of being a part of the contest, and please still make an entry in case of a last minute drop out.
 
Seeding & Tournament Bracket
All 47 entrants have been seeded for this competition and placed into pots in alphabetical order. These pots can be seen below. People have then been drawn from random out of these pots to be placed in the first round according to the order they were drawn from their ranked pot. This is much like the process for the World Cup, Champions League and many other sporting events. The bracket can also be seen below, but we are not releasing where people are located on the bracket, this is to add excitement to the tournament.

Deadlines
There are 4 rounds, which means there are 4 deadlines, each giving you only 2 weeks to construct and submit your entry. The first and second rounds allow two people to go through, the semi final only allows the winner to progress. The deadlines are as follows:
 
First Round - 6th July @ 23:59 [UTC-11]
Second Round - 27th July @ 23:59 [UTC-11]
Semi Finals - 17th 22nd August @ 23:59 [UTC-11]
The Final - 7th 15th September @ 12:00 [GMT]

After each deadline there is 1 'free' week where no building takes place. This week allows us to release the entries to the public, start the voting procedure, record the results and start the next round at the end of the week. This means contest has 2 weeks for each round with the next round starting the following week after the results have taken place.
 
Submissions
Please submit your entry as a non-competitive park submission, and please add [MM2014 Round #] at the end of your submission's name so that we can differentiate from normal submissions and understand what round you intend the entry for (change the # to the corresponding round number).
 
The time stamp of your submission will be recorded by the site automatically, which will tell us whether you have met the deadline or not. Please be aware that there will be absolutely no exceptions given, even if you are only a second late. It is your responsibility to submit on time and to allow for potential throwbacks that may delay your submission.

Voting Process & Results
The entries will be released during the 'free' week and voting will take place via a public poll. Please only vote if you have viewed the parks in game, this is especially important when it comes to LL submissions. If the match up contains an LL submission, please only vote on that particular match up if you are able to view LL submissions in game. We want this contest to be a fair one, and we have to trust you to abide by this rule. Polls will be open for 3 days.
