This is one for the history books. Beautiful entertaining match (even the first half), world class goals, unlikely and awesome score... What. A. Match. Damn.
DAMN.

Slight tangent but; Robben's volley! Probably the most well-hit strike I've ever seen.
Excellent match, Dutch simply dominated the second half. Be interesting to see how Spain bounce back. Haven't watched the Chile v Australia match yet, but I'm pleasantly surprised that Australia actually scored.

/\ haha, and it was a deserved win too, i really felt like italy dominated the field in the second half, and england was just too tired.

England hasn't been this much fun in a long while though, at least in my experience, and talking solely about the first half.
Pirlo was great.

I didn't get to watch the match personally, but it's interesting to hear this in contrast to the media over here which is saying that we dominated the whole game and Italy got lucky

The English media said that? I don't think the English media has a reputation of writing accurate reports about the English team. In other words, no, they definitely didn't dominate. Maybe they had slightly more ball possesion, but in terms of skill and chances I'd say the match was pretty even. Which is quite an achievement for England, a step in the right direction!
Uruguay was terribly disappointing by the way. Of course there was no Suarez, but it's going to be tough for them now against England and Italy. I'm really interested to see who goes through in this group, it will be tight!
Tonight is Argentina-Bosnia, and tomorrow is Germany-Portugal. I expect two good matches, anyone else watching?

I will be watching Germany-Portugal definitely. Should be an exciting match, hopefully Ronaldo is fit enough to play.
It will be interesting to see how Bosnia do as they have some good players, but I honestly can't see them doing very well against Argentina.

Doomblade, if both of our teams keep performing like this and meet in the finals we'd all orgasm to death because that would be one hell of a football game
