Last two matches posted. The others should close today, but I'll leave them open for a while longer.

Round 3 is supposed to start within the next two days, but we haven't even finished the regular voting, let alone the wildcard. Will the deadlines be extended because of this?

That's the deadline, not the start.

That's still over a week to build if everyone waits until winners are officially announced. Most of the rounds are over because the leader is winning by a landsilde, so we know who is advancing. Even the wildcards would be pretty easy to call (my bets are on Stoksy, gdb, and Kumba).

This voting is going to last longer than expected with the wildcard round, so there should be more time. Really, what harm does an extra week do? If anything you get higher quality entries that way.

I want an extra week, that way I can send something in that's not completely shit. 

How is sending in something completely shit a problem?

 

I'll discuss the matter with Louis. Personally I don't care much. I made my entry in a single afternoon and it appears many others did rushed it too.

So I am out. It was fun tho, I enjoyed the contest and a return to parkmaking.

 

Thanks to Liam and Louis for coming up with this and trying very hard to run a good all-new contest. Still, I think you tried too hard and in doing so got in over your heads and took a little bit of the fun out. This bracket seemed like a great idea, but it fell apart quick. No sport has anything like this as the bracket started to fail (admittedly mostly due to dropouts). What's wrong with people knowing who they face? In QFTB-X (a contest a lot like MM08 with a bracket in full view) I had to face #1 seed LL legend X-Sector. Did I just give up since he was expected by everyone to win? No. I was inspired to beat him, made Primal Apocalypse and kicked the shit out of him. In the future just do a normal bracket.

 

I would still like to win this contest tho... While I am dead now, my soul lives on and could cling to another life form... Anyone left in this thing want a coach? As long as you have time to build and the motivation to win, I guarantee you'll win the contest if you accept my help. I did this in MM08 when I wanted to avoid facing the highly dangerous Levis by helping Zodiac come up with an entry that beat him

 

Okay, I know that does not sound like I had no fear of Levis and was ready to take him down. Still, you guys have seen movies... The bad guy almost always sends someone else to take out an enemy. If they fail, the take him on myself in the epic finale.
