Technically, yes. But we will allow sign ups to continue, but you will be placed on the reserves list. Would that be ok?

So please, all reserves make an entry, as we most likely will get drop outs in which case your entry would be used.

Are the reserves pooled as well? I'm afraid of AvanineCommuter, haha.

Good news for someone on the reserve list. I'm dropping out. Ive started my park multiple times and I get a game closing error anytime I try to save. I wiped everything and uninstalled the game and re-installed it. I'm getting the same problems. If I can't save, I can't compete. :[

Yeah I know... I was looking forward to this also. Pretty sure my park would have been awesome. But yeah... Im not sure what happened since Iast played.

Technically, we won't be 'accepting' drop outs until they don't turn anything in lol It's just easier for us to keep track and be organised this way.

So keep trying to get it to work, even try LL, you have over 2 weeks to sort it out and build an entry so you could still be lucky. Could you not try a steam download?

And again, we want to encourage people on the reserves list to build, we could need all of you. And if not, we could always have an unofficial little match up between you guys so that your work wouldn't be wasted if we didn't need all of you.

I don't have LL. And don't even know what Codex is lol. As for RCT2.... Its on disk. I can still play it and I have every few weeks since my last major project last year... thing is everytime I played after that I never saved anything. So when I tried a couple days ago, i didn't work....

are the rounds themselves gonna be anonymous? i don't really give a shit if it's not because i trust peeps enough not to vote omg that's rob's/generic rct great's name!!!

can we have a showoff thread where we post screens to the admins and they post them to a topic without giving a name? i think it would be cool to see a lot of suprises when all the entries are visible

I think not showing anything of the entries is actually a pretty good idea. I know you're all about showing off, I am as well, but be patient.

No screens will be shown, anonymous or not.

Rounds will be anonymous, until the vote, when it will be revealed who you were up against. However, you won't know who you are up against in the next round as we won't be revealing your match number and therefore you won't know where on the bracket you are placed and where you progress next.

Why don't you just make something for yourself and hand it in before the deadline?

Considering anyone you might want to show it to might ultimately be competing against you... why would you want to PM anyone your work?

who cares, dude? it's all about everyone putting out good work and a tight and fun competition
