Ask the Experts / RCT2 Windowed mode problem

Hello everyone, there was a RCT2 windowed mode hack on gog.com (http://www.gog.com/f...owed_mode/page3), but it never work for me, I follow all the steps and nothing happened, the game still run in a full screen. So today I try to find other method and find a soft called "DirectX windower v1.88",

you can use it to switch any game of DirectX1-9 to a windowed mode. 
And I run RCT2 in a window after some setteings.
The only problem now is that, when I start RCT2, the soft force all my computer, RCT2 and desktop to 256 colors, like this:

RCT2 need 16 bit color, and this soft change everything to 8 bit color, so is there any way to lock the color to 16 bit?

Anyone has some good idea to solve the problem?
And if someone has problem using this soft to run RCT2 just ask me. I only has this color issue now.
