one already has, I just made a new site called: www.newelements.com! It features completely original things liek: Parkmakers, spotlight, runner-ups, designs, the list, Prince's Rant, contests, h2h- heads2heads, walkthroughs, group parks, and a hit tracker! But im sure another site will pop up soon enough.

I could create club folders over at my site RCT Market if people want. I already host RCTU.What's going to happen to all the Clubs? I
Really a shock this happened though. -

Well I did know it could be coming, but I thought we could get round it.
Just keep us hosted, otherwise we are gonners. I don't think there will be many clubs anymore as most of them are based at the station. -

I said a few times a while ago I was concerned about NE getting too big. It'll definitely take some time for me to get used to the influx of new members, especially all of those I came here to escape from. -

Eh, fun yes, all red has to do is ditch all the RCT1 parks on the site, don't host any RCT2 parks, I never ever downloaded a park from those pages, except the wonders of the world park by Mike Robbins. So nobody looks at those, take out most of the stupid information, except the data bank, that was cool...
get rid of moron posters who should of been banned a long time ago, that cuts down on bandwith just without the idiots posting mindless crap.
And wow, it gets cheaper, better yet, delete every member from the system that hasn't posted in 30 days, and your set, for a while. -

We all suggested those ideas in the staff forum there. But none would really do much. Many people still play RCT1 and want to download parks from the site. And with tons of RCT2 players building parks, we'd only build up the same problem with alot of parks. We'd probably be in the clear for about a month or two if we removed most of the saved games. There's more parks not in the archive than are. By the time those get up, we'd be back where we started. What we needed was a dedicated server. The cost was too high, so the site was closed. Simple as that.Eh, fun yes, all red has to do is ditch all the RCT1 parks on the site, don't host any RCT2 parks, I never ever downloaded a park from those pages, except the wonders of the world park by Mike Robbins. Man, RCT Station used to be more than just an RCT site, it had little bits of entertainment and stuff, such as the case modding articles!
It was the only place where i could post my fantasy RCT fotos, and it had one of the best projects areas ever, not to mention the scenery forums which were home to the best new scenery downloads!
It will be missed by me. -

Just to let everyone know, iris is setting up Survivor to be hosted here. Expect voting for Survivor VI to begin tomorrow. -

Hey, isn't Git hilarious? If you disagree, you're banned.
Anyway, if the bandwidth problems get to bad, what would you say about requiring registration to access NE? Not that Iris has really considered that. I'm just personally curious. -
Jellybones Offline
You know what this means.
Extreme Designs will now become the premier RCT/2 site on the web.
And you can't argue that either. -

Well, In the future, im sure that 5000 new RCT sites will pop up. What the community needs to do is pick one of these new sites as the new rctstation, and throw their support behind it.
I personally think the NE experience will be good from some of those Station members. If they pulled the shit they pulled at RCTstation, they would be flamed in an insane fashion...but, it wasnt allowed over there.
Good to hear about survivor. -

I'm glad that Survivor will be run here. Will there be any future Survivors held here also is what I'm wondering.
I've also noticed that everyone said that they were beginning to hate the Station. Everyone kept complaining about how bad it was and how much all the n00bs there sucked, but now that it's actually gone, people are starting to really miss it.
Anyway, I'm still really missing it.

Sad day for the RCT Community as a whole...the Station was the first community I joined, and I feel as if I've been uprooted. Being a member of a community for over 20 months will do that to you...
Good news on Survivor though...especially considering I'm on one of the maps....I never expected NE members to vote on it (obviously), but this should throw an interesting twist on it...
Oh and Mantis, you can run, but I know where to find you!

My thoughts exactly... I was prepared for the Station crowd to see my section.Good news on Survivor though...especially considering I'm on one of the maps....I never expected NE members to vote on it (obviously), but this should throw an interesting twist on it...
Now, the NE posters decide the fate. (scary thought)
