like i download a file then what do i do :@
  • Ablaze%s's Photo
Ok, the file is zipped right. Click the file and it will come up with a screen saying, "Agree" "Quit" "Ordering Info" if you keep the trial version.

    Click "Agree"
    Then click "Next"
"Then make sure your mouse is on "Unzip or Install from".

Then it should open up the folder then you can click the file and it should open as normal.

"Ordering Info" if you keep the trial version.

IF you keep the trial version? Who in their right mind would buy a program that you can use nearly the same version in a free trial for an unlimited amount of time?
  • Jellybones%s's Photo
Yes, for some reason it says that you can only use the trial version for 21 days, however 21 days apparently means forever in Winzip's world.

funny about the 21 days things... I bet you there is some fucked up karma at work here =P

Do yourself a favour and use WinRar.
  • Silenced%s's Photo
Winzip does fine for me. I'm at 458 days of my 21 day free trial.
  • JBruckner%s's Photo
winrar is so much more usefiull than winace it isn't even funny.
    winace sucks compared to winrar.
    www.rarlabs.com is the right URL!

I use Object Zip...It does a lot of cool things...
  • mantis%s's Photo
What're the differences between Winzip and Winrar?
  • Richie%s's Photo
winrar supports .rar files, as well as a load of others. Winzip doesnt support winrar and others. i still use winzip, i dont know why. i never need to open .rar files, really.
  • posix%s's Photo
No other program can read as many archive formats as WinRar. It does even support Linux formats. And the compression rate of *.rar files is unmatched since a long long time.

I just right-click on the file and select "extract to here"
