The tagging system is potentially a very, very powerful feature. After barely a day it's noticable that 'similar screens' or 'similar parks' are starting to make sense. To optimalize this feature, and to protect it from becoming a nonsensical mess, keep these guidelines in mind while adding tags:- Firstly, try to refrain from 'funny' tags like macklemore/haveyouseenjerusalem/ugly, they are nothing but litter. Especially if they apply to only a single screen/park.
- Only add a tag when it's directly relevant to the screen/park
- Don't use plurals. 'Boats' and 'boat' are essentially the same tag, except for that 'boat' covers everything. The system relies on frequency of individual tags, so it's not efficient to have both singulars and plurals.
- When adding a tag, watch the suggestions that come up after typing three symbols. This can help avoiding doubles; singular/plural for example.
- When reffering to geographical areas, use nouns. 'Japan' instead of 'japanese'. Only use adjectives when there's no noun, for example 'indian' to describe native american. Adjectives like 'dutch' or 'german' also make sense when the screen/park is not directed at and fully comprehensible by international crowds, due to for example language and inside jokes.
- Especially in the case of screens, look out for interesting features to tag like 'lighthouse', 'water wheel', 'boardwalk' or 'windmill'. They are the objective properties that make a screen unique.

In the screens I've uploaded thus far, I've tried to make an effort to tag the ride type as well. For example, "Splash Boats". That's what the game calls it. Technically, though, it's a plural. That's still acceptable to you, right? Or would you prefer the tag be "Splash Boat"?

splash boats is most likely best. just use the suggestions when they come from the drop down as you are typing. if it's on that list then use it, because typing something that doesn't come down the dropdown box will create a brand new tag
