Hello, I'm a new member here, but I'm familiar with the site. I was wondering if anyone knew how to uninstall the rct2 expansion packs? -

One way to do it would be to go into your RCT 2 directory and take out the scenery objects and rides that comprise the expansion packs. However, this would take a long time. Getting rid of the scenarios is easy, as those names correspond with their actual in-game names. The rides and scenery are Dats though, and have rather cryptic names that don't follow a pattern most of the time. Some scenery objects are easier than others, but purging them all would take a lot of time and patience. If you're just looking to clean out your dat folder though, its sometimes worth it (especially when you're trying to make a workbench and have to sort through all the annoying WW/TT stuff.
Then again this is under the assumption that you are using the Tripple Thrill Pack. I'm sure there's an easier way to do it for the individual disks. -

or he could just visit my site and have a list of all the expansion dat files he would need to clean out. -

Press the windowskey + "R" on your keyboard together and in the command line popping up enter:
control.exe appwiz.cpl
It should bring up the "Add/Remove Software" dialogue. Look for the expansions and click "Uninstall" one after the other. It should run the uninstaller accordingly and remove all objects along with it. -

Thanks everyone! However, Im using the triple thrill pack, so would it be possible to uninstall only the expansion packs? -

So if I just bought a normal rct2 game, would i be able to recover my saved data from the TTP? -

Yes, just copy the map for saved games.
The items in those save games should reinstall when opened and if you miss any objects afterwards... just ask.
