    how do you make diagonal paths and let people walk on these paths ? i've tried multiple times, but never works :S

    You need to lay invisible path over it in a step like pattern, the peeps won't walk diagonally, they will walk up left up left.

    There are path types that look diagonal, but those aren't used very much anymore. Now people generally use objects that look like path and put invisible path over it.
