Music Forum / It's June...what are your favorite albums of 2013 SO FAR?

2013 has been very weak so far, but the BIG releases (according to my taste) have all yet to come: Dream Theater, Seventh Wonder, Ayreon, Haken, Dark Moor...

I can't seen any of those go wrong. That makes four great albums, which is a satisfying harvest for 2013.

The only new album I've heard this year is Release The Panic by Red, which I think is by far the weakest of their four albums. I didn't dislike it by any means, but they completely changed their sound from solid hard rock to more electronic rock and completely did away with their trademark string orchestra and choir. I'm looking forward to Within Temptation, Alter Bridge, and Dream Theater later this year.

I think Arcade Fire is coming out with a new album sometime this year, not sure when, but one thing is certain: it will be freakin' awesome.

Ah, I forgot about the rumored Temper Trap album.

The album is destined to be amazing though, so I'll forgive her once it drops. Watch out for ATM JAM, supposedly, it's to be out sometime this month! Emphasis on *supposedly*.
