I like how we keep saying people are gonna "sail" into the finals. Sailfish had 2 votes 80% or higher. Necromancer had 3. If the supposed elite vote any similar to the panelist, we are going to have no additional qualifiers. I'm hoping the judges will keep in mind they are voting between a builder joining PT or not. Otherwise those already in the contest will block out any competition they might have. I'd argue at least 1 winner should get through for each prelim, but knowing the admins won't change it, I'll just shut up.

^ I would have to agree with that. What the admins have done is ok, because it insures that if you have a badass entry your going to get in no matter what. However i think the the number of 80+% scores will be few and far in between. How it should work in that case is, if no one gets over 80% then the winner of the round gets a spot.

Yes, but do remember that this only to qualify for the actual competition, which is definitely a "you vs. others" contest.

We have changed the final workbench rule slightly. You must use the supplied workbench, however you may change up to 5 objects if you wish as we understand sometimes there is a couple of objects people really desire. Upon entering please let us know which objects have been replaced.

also, may work that has been used for the prelims be used for later releases? Like you finish the entrance to a full park?

Any prelim entry can be sent at any time before its deadline.

LL is of course welcome, we actively encourage LL entries.

You may finish prelim entries for future release, but you may not finish them as your Pro Tour 4 Final entry.

Are we allowed to make new objects for the finals parks, as long as it's not more than five? If we release them beforehand, it's technically showing individual aspects of one's entry, as they will be part of its uniqueness.

About the anonymous prelims.. Say I create some objects for the prelim and I put my screen name on them (which everyone does), would it still be considered anonymous?

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm not even going to bother entering anymore. The contest is a crock of shit. You guys running the contest conveniently placed yourself into the finals already. You also get to choose the bench. And you get to choose who goes through to the finals from prelims considering a good portion of the prelim judges aren't even around or don't play.

Now I'm assuming these boards have been dead because everyone's busy building prelims, right?
